crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)

Party post is up, for the interested! It's mostly making fun of me because I have such a hard time keeping track of my RP character's ages. Look, I have room for only so many anniversaries in my head. . .

Unfortunately, I can't stay long because I'm already pushing the limits of how late I should stay up (catching up with tumblr, my eternal hell), but I do have fic to deliver! Which, uh, doesn't have anything to do with Marty or Victor, but is at least hotly anticipated (or so I assume) -- Chapter 2 of "In The Land of the Dead," Blu-Ray edition! While the framework is the same, the innards have been substantially revamped. Also, since we are dealing with rape survival here, a general Warning: some disturbing if vague imagery seems appropriate. So yeah, if you're up for it, you can read it on FF.net, on AO3, or on my website. Enjoy my chance to exposit on how the Land of the Dead works!

All right, time to answer the last of my tags/messages, then sneak it Victor's piano solo before bed. Night all!

I was gonna say something, but then you answered what it was. Basically I was gonna ask about the final half-hour of feeling and why they couldn't feel their burns, but then you mentioned they were unconscious for it so never mind. ^^

"No-Rot?" Athur echoed, deciding not to mention that their house was quite warm enough, thank you.

Spelling blooper. :)

Some look as though they have, but eventually everyone either goes Up–" she pointed at the ceiling, then turned her finger toward the floor "–or Down."

Missing punctuation between "floor" and "or" I think?

I'll silence you for good if you don't stop fighting!"And she hadn't stopped, couldn't stop –

Spacing. And even knowing what she's gonna do to him at the end (unless you change it in the rewrite) doesn't lessen the fact that I want to kill him myself.

I like the callback to the "animals don't have souls" thing Victor was told in "Losing You". Heheh...now I'm imagining a scene when Pastor Galswells has passed on and went to the Land of the Dead and he's immediately assaulted by animals. Pity they can't tall Downstairs like the maggots. "Oh, we don't have souls, do we? Then why are we here, eh?" :p Though he'd probably think he's gone mad or something. :/

Edit: I just had a thought...would it be awkward when Ned and his new wife finally die and meet up with Katy again?
