I've been trying to get a special ice cream treat for a couple of weeks now, and today -- which had decent, fairly warm weather that justified a walk -- I finally grabbed one! Malted Milk Ball flavor shake from the local Brickleys's, which was amazing as usual. (Chocolate ice cream with crushed Whoppers in it, for those not in the know. Seriously good.) Meant dessert tonight was just a fudgsicle, but hey, I'm cool with that. And I've got Friendly's store-bought for the next few nights, so yay, lots of good ice cream coming my way. :)

Been a pretty nice Saturday overall, honestly -- woke up earlier than I expected to thanks to needing to pee, but I rolled with it and got stuff done. Well into the Elder Gutknecht stuff of Chapter 10 now (though I had to keep editing as I remembered different things that had to be ruled out so that the Halloween loophole was the only thing they had going) -- at least this rewrite's going well. I also played more Bloodlines and took care of a few side quests -- namely, giving Trip his drugs (which I'd actually picked up during the werewolf blood side quest, so that was literally a case of "get quest-->fulfill quest") and killing the Asian "vampire" in Foxy Boxes. Harold's slowly getting better at this combat thing, which is good. Currently I'm about to advance to the next step in the "Jeannette/Therese feud" series of quests -- slashing paintings in Gallery Noir. I'm trying to be nice to both sisters in the hope of saving both of them, but if I have to choose, I think I'll go with Jeannette -- Helloween ended up picking Therese in his Malk playthrough, and I want to see the other side of that choice.

After that it was lunch and Linkara -- reviewing a "meh" comic about a pilot who goes by the nickname "Biggles" who foils a plot by a Hitler wannabe to start World War III (yes, really). After that it was the Critic on Wild Wild West -- the movie does look dumb, but I have to admit, I like the steampunk elements. The train and Gordon's kind-of-rocket bike seem neat to a brain who loves that sort of thing. (You can fully blame BTTF III and The Game for why.) There was also a Fun With Shorts about a TV remote with a whole SEVEN FUNCTIONS! I -- kind of wish it was like that again, if only because we have a bunch of remotes with lots of complicated bells and whistles and sometimes it feels like too much. (Though, admittedly, we only use two on a regular basis, and we've got the buttons we generally need to press down.)

Not much else of note -- I did my usual wander onto TV Tropes, and now I'm doing my usual late-night RP thing, so yeah. Pretty usual weekend. Tomorrow, vacuuming, Sims 4, and Helloween! Night!
