Slow Monday

crossover_chickNot a heck of a lot to do at work -- though there was the big credit card batch to run, so that took up a decent chunk of the afternoon. Most of the rest was spent carefully chipping away at the hunks of roster maintenance we still have left over from the busy part of the year. Sometimes it feels like it's either rush rush all the time or slow as a glacier in there. Ah well, I know how stressful the rush rush portion is, so I guess I'll enjoy the slow while I have it.
Weather's nice today -- a bit fallish, but temperatures and, more importantly, humidity are more than reasonable. I think my favorite times of year are late spring and early fall -- there's a good amount of sunlight, the temperatures tend to be nice, the humidity stays to the dry side, and you can have your window open to sleep. Good times, good times. . .
Progress continues on Chapter 10 MkII -- we're up to the big old love confession! Which will trigger Lizzie's realization that she loves him in return, and end the chapter on a happy note. And then I can finally get back to that new stuff I promised! I'm hoping I haven't completely lost my groove on the "BJ's mother meets the Liddells" idea I have. . . Fingers crossed, anyway!
Nothing much else to report -- queues are done for personal and Butterfly Boy on tumblr, and I've got some stuff to get to DW, so I'd best get that out of the way and make a decently early night of it. Night all!
