High Traffic Tuesday

crossover_chickAs in I don't know what happened this morning, but the general slowness of 95 meant that I got into work about 8:20 and thus had to take the 4:38 home. Which also encountered traffic, though not quite as much of it. Had some scary sudden stops, though -- I really wish those wouldn't be a thing on buses. Thanks to the lack of seat belts, you tend to get flung around. Grrr. . .
Anyway, kind of a slow day at work -- just chugging through roster maintenance for the most part, encountering weird tangled webs of relationships. Be glad when I get this current pile done. . .on the plus side, we got official confirmation the building closes early one last time this Friday, so I get one final three-and-a-half day weekend. :) Again, no big plans beyond "play video games." We will see if that changes before the end of the week, but honestly I'd be happy just having the extra time to destress and get some serious writing/gaming done. :)
Also hatched all my special dragons in DragonVale -- my Ivy is named Buttercup, my Stygian Perseus, and my Squall Okypete after one of the Harpies (which were apparently in charge of ill winds). They're all cute and I look forward to growing them up.
Not much else to say -- got a little done on "In The Land of the Dead" thanks to starting writing late (just one quick scene, but at least it's something), did queues for Forgotten and my personal on tumblr, and now I really need to hit the sheets. Fingers crossed for better traffic tomorrow!
