crossover_chickWhy do I never learn that going on you to check "one quick thing" inevitably results in hours of time down the drain. . .fortunately I've torn myself away from it now, so hopefully I can get to queueing up Butterfly Boy's posts and answering other things.
Another day where there's not a lot to say -- work was pretty boring, the weather was miserable (so no driving lesson), and writing was -- well, I was gonna say "more edits on Chapter 13," but in fact it's new content! Specifically, a short visit to Radcliffe's house and an encounter with a well-spoken but not-very-friendly policeman. Which confirms Bumby has the trust of the Inspector (or at least one of them; I don't know how many would be in London at the time). Poor Lizzie, blocked at every turn for plot reasons. . .at least I do have an AU where she finds Alice, even if it's not very fleshed out.
But yeah, that and TV Tropes (and a few YouTube videos) have made up the majority of my day. Time to buckle down and get some shit done. . .as it turns into tomorrow. Fortunately none of this has a time limit. ^^;
