Slightly Manic Monday

crossover_chickIf only because it's complicated file season at work, and we're still scrambling to get everything we need to get done done. . . Hopefully we'll be finished by the end of this week - which, happily, is Thursday instead of Friday, yaaaay Veteran's Day~ I get the feeling I'm going to need the long weekend.
We skipped the regular driving lesson tonight, but I did drive up to the bus stop this morning. . .which nearly ended in disaster when some guy stopped at the end of the road while I was backing out, then came FLYING up just before I could get settled in my lane. Not exactly the best way to start your morning! But nobody got hurt, I made it to the mall in one piece, and I'm willing to give it another shot tomorrow, so there's something, I suppose.
Wrote some more on Chapter 4 of "Remembering You" -- it's coming together, though I'm struggling a bit to get just the right tone down at spots. . .on the other hand, thanks to my work schedule, I find myself trying to write a super-angsty story right after watching freaking Whose Line Is It Anyway? So I guess it's not that surprising I might feel a little off. But for the most part it seems to be working, and I can always polish it again before posting. I'm not aiming for this Friday, after all -- I've got time.
However, I don't really have time now, and since I've already answered everything in my inbox and done the tumblr queue thing, it's time to go to bed, methinks. Night all!
