Slushy Monday

crossover_chickWhich is an improvement over snowy Monday, I suppose, but it still made for a rough ride in. At least I was expecting it this time, so it didn't get my dander up too much. Not to mention no run-ins with idiot bus drivers, which helps. So long as I don't get any more undertrained people who don't know their routes, I'll be fine.
Work was busy, but fortunately I wasn't there alone -- my two injured coworkers have recovered enough to actually come in. Since they can't walk very well, I'm doing a lot of errand running, but hey, it's exercise. And I got the main thing I needed to get done done, so that's good. Now we'll just see how the rest of the week goes.
Took a break from "Remembering You" tonight to get a couple more Christmas fics in the can -- figured I might alternate this week so I'll have as much done as possible by the time the weekend comes around. Having some fun with some AU prompts here, including my Aperture Wage Slave one for Victor (where he's an employee of Aperture in the late 70s -- inspired by one of the Docs I play with on tumblr). Nice to be able to just write happy things occasionally.
And not much else to say. Pats game is on downstairs -- we were doing good, but a bad fumble has allowed the Ravens to come back. Still winning, but it's a much tighter game. Going to try and get some sleep around Dad's shouting. *shakehead* Night all!
