Off At Last

crossover_chickAfter another rather stressful day -- CAP meeting coupled with a coworker not showing up (for good reasons -- family medical stuff -- but since I didn't know...) and having to do what she usually does only I had to finagle it carefully because my other coworker was doing the GL at the time and I had other projects piling up and -- *sigh* Just -- glad to get out of there this afternoon, seriously.
Consequently, I have spent the majority of my night watching Dirk Gently clips. (I also found out WHY I can't find it on Netflix -- it's because I'm in the USA. Apparently the deal is that BBCAmerica gets exclusive rights to air it over here, and Netflix gets all the foreign countries. *grumbles*) I feel like I've watched most of the show in two, three, four-minute chunks now. It's good stuff, though the angsty bits hit HARD. Still hoping I can see the show properly somewhere -- although, from what I've seen, it's available via Amazon, and I DO have a gift card I've been hanging onto because I hadn't felt the need to buy anything...Hmmm.
Anyway, I did write a bit on "Fixing You" before diving into the YouTube hole, at least -- Victor got to see Alice in her dress! Which took a bit of finagling, as I keep changing the design somewhat each time, but I think I've got one that I like now. Next up is the vows, then cake, then a trip Downstairs to celebrate with the Liddells and some of Victor's friends. :) Am still wondering if I should have Victoria and/or June tag along -- I'd kind of like Victoria to get a chance to see the Land of the Dead, and it seems sad to confirm that June and Bonejangles are siblings and never have them meet. We'll see as I write.
Right now, though, I have a couple of messages to answer, and some tumblr stuff to catch up on. Gotta spend some of my night productively! Sleep tight all!
