Backing Up Not So Tricky

crossover_chickDid some more of it after a fairly uneventful day at work, on the road we found with wide parking lanes. I'm pretty decent at staying close to the curb without hitting anything, and looking behind me properly now. We're gonna keep practicing, and work some on parallel parking. And Mom's decided that we'll be going down to the general area of the test on weekends (probably Saturdays) and going around likely bits of the course so I can practice doing stuff there too. So that's the plan now for the second driving test. Just keep working at it and working at it, so I can finally be DONE with this mess. *nods*
What also might help is my period FINALLY making an appearance, after giving me false alarms all weekend. Ugh. Not that I ever feel that great ON my period, but at least now I'm getting it over with for the month. And I'll be done before Halloween, so that's a bit nice. *nods* Cripes, that's only a week away -- hopefully everything goes well with my chosen costume! I'm looking forward to seeing all the new kids and handing out candy. :)
Still on "The Technicolor Phase" -- finished the new Victoria-ized version of the final Barkis confrontation I wrote before. Changed some details here and there, but it fits the theme of the story a lot better. Next up is a wrap-up from Emily's POV, then Alice reenters the story and we can finally get to the OT4 this has all been leading up to. And then maybe I can concentrate on "Fixing You" again. ...Just in time to start "Secundus 2." *shakehead* I gotta make myself a schedule. Suppose I should just be glad writing is happening.
Did the Valice Multiverse queue (fairly busy) and emptied out my inbox, so that's a good thing. And an anon question gave me the best idea for a Valice date (preferably in either a double-date or poly situation with Victoria and Emily) -- skating date! Roller-skating, to be precise. The image of Victor on roller-skates is just -- XD As is the related image of Alice helping him around the rink, holding his hands. :) Sometimes you just don't know how much you want something until someone else suggests it.
Right now, though, I know how much I want sleep without anyone saying a word. Doesn't help that I woke up early to find the power had blinked (according to Mom, EXACTLY at 5 AM) and thus had to start up my iPad to fix my clock. Managed to get back to sleep for a little while, but there was less than an hour to my actual wake-up time, so. . . Fingers crossed we don't get a repeat tonight! (Rainy and windy as hell here, so -- we'll see.) Night all!
