Better Thursday

crossover_chickDidn't really start off that way -- call to the dentist revealed they had to move my appointment back an hour, to 11:45. Which took two transfers for them to tell me, because the person who left the voicemail didn't leave a very good one and apparently left no notes either. My expectations regarding this visit are lowering. *sigh* Starting to think I should have just sucked it up and kept going to Thundermist in Wakefield. Hell of a ride, but at least I knew and trusted the people there.
After that, though, things started looking up a bit:
-->The new tires are on the car, and Mom made her dinner date with her friend and had fun. No driving for me today, but that's only because Mom came home just a bit too late for a work night -- we made plans for how we're going to handle Saturday so I can get some good driving time in around the actual road test course.
-->I had a pretty quiet day at work, with enough different things to do so I never really felt that bored. Even got in a walk when the rain stopped for a while this afternoon.
-->Finished off the "setting up the threesome" short in "The Technicolor Phase" and started on the LizJangles one. :)
-->Currently working on getting the Valice Multiverse queue set up and getting my first "imagine your otp" prompt fic posted up on AO3. (New name of the miniseries -- "Imagine Me And You." Took me forever to come up with it, but it fits nicely.)
-->Got a chance to watch some of the shorter videos in my Watch Later queue.
-->And, of course, got my 10:04 post today for Time Travel day. :D Because really, this is one of the days you HAVE to catch if you're a Backie. Which I still am, despite everything. Doc and Marty will always have a place in my heart. :)
Okay, time to get this darn fic posted, then get all my replies queued up/posted, then hit the sheets. Friday tomorrow -- whew! Night all!
After that, though, things started looking up a bit:
