Slightly Chilly Friday

crossover_chickThough I still got out for a walk at work -- just waited until my afternoon break instead of going at lunch. Warmed up pretty nicely for a few hours there, and it was good to get some fresh air and clear my head. Definitely starting to feel like autumn proper now, though. Leaves are changing, nights are chilly -- winter is sneaking up on us, slowly but surely. Meh.
Had a pretty decent day today, all things considered. Work was again quiet, but I'm glad of the lack of emergencies. And I'm coming up to the end of the DeceasedFinder thing, yay~ Driving after work went well -- we went to our usual road to practice backing up, and then did some backing into parking spaces in the parking lot. I'm doing a lot better now that I've gotten some practice under my belt. Still need to work on a few things, but -- yeah. Still have the better part of a month to tackle those. (Including parallel parking -- won't THAT be fun.)
On the writing front, finished the Lizzie/Bonejangles "Technicolor Phase" short. Time to throw Alice back into the mix via a trip to the Royal Opera House. :D Although maybe I'll put that on hold for a bit and see if I can wiggle myself back into "Fixing You" first -- been neglecting it for a few days now. I really need to set up a schedule -- after I start on "Secundus 2," maybe. Alternate that, "Fixing You," and "The Technicolor Phase," plus maybe a "free day" for working on other AU snippets (like "As Long As You Love Me" and the Holistic Coffee Shop). Could work. Aaah, so many things to do, and so little time. . .
And on the web front, I'm finishing up my Valice Multiverse queue now, gonna set up my VictorLuvsAlice one, and answer what I've got drafted in my inbox. Lots to get through, and not a heck of a lot of time to do it in -- gotta get up earlier tomorrow so I can have breakfast, change my sheets, go driving, then go to the dentist. And do the usual dusting and vacuuming at some point too. Busy Saturday is busy, basically. *deep breath* So yeah -- let's get this party started. Night all!
