Less Stressful Friday
Nov. 10th, 2017 11:14 pmAlthough the shooting remains a hot news topic. My parents caught a report from Boston on the TV, while I read about in the local paper. Accounts seem to vary about how destructive the chase was. . . What is clear is that the guy in the pickup was NOT the guy they were originally looking for, and while he had a rap sheet, it was mainly for petty larceny. Not the sort of thing you fire at least 20 rounds into a truck for, hmm? It's basically just not a good situation all around. :(
My own personal situation is all right, at least. Work was more roster maintenance, for the most part -- we have our clean-up files back from the clean-up place, so we're working on editing those and getting rid of the obvious errors. Came home and did some writing on "Fixing You" -- Victor, Alice, and Fixxler preparing to leave the Land of the Dead, only for Victor to find out there's a little glitch in his ability to do so. . . Supper was from Twin's Pizza, which was nice. Haven't had them in a bit. They really do make a good pizza pie. :) And then most of the rest of the night has been bumming around on the web. You know me -- I'm not at my most productive on Friday evenings. Especially when I happen to wander on TV Tropes.
Tomorrow's plans include:
-->A trip up to Garden City, for driving practice and shopping purposes (at least, I assume the latter -- I forget what it is we're supposed to get though)
-->BioShock and seeing if I can the stupid Origin launcher to work (it's a three-day weekend, so I can delay Sims 4 itself until Sunday)
-->YouTube videos (though I haven't decided if I'm doing Helloween or The Sim Supply -- the latter already has four videos of his new Sims 4 Cats & Dogs LP going, but would it make more sense to watch those the day I play Sims 4 myself?)
-->More on "The Technicolor Phase," as it's Saturday and thus my "other projects" day
-->Usual cleaning of stuff
-->Hopefully not freezing my ass off -- it just got colder and colder today as the day went on, and tomorrow's only supposed to be slightly above freezing D: And me with a shopping trip. . .at least we'll be in the nice warm car for most of it.
Anyway -- need to do a few productive things tonight, like a Valice Multiverse queue and answer some comments, so I'm off. Night all, stay warm!
