Happy Pre-Thanksgiving!

crossover_chickWork was boring (just an endless slog through the maintenance project I'm working on), but we did get to leave early, and traffic was good enough that Dad and I got home in about fifteen minutes. So that was nice. :) Things accomplished:
-->Wrote some more on "Fixing You" -- I'm sticking with my original plan of skipping straight ahead to the Wonderland chapters for now. Victor and Alice haven't actually reached Wonderland yet -- there's a little discussion, a little setting up more of "Alice is doing better, Victor not so much" -- but soon!
-->Played BioShock -- got those final memories I was searching for (which I believe summed up Diane McClintock's (Ryan's girlfriend) last moments), a bunch of free ammo, and the corpse of a Big Daddy that was bugging me (hooray for the stunning powers of ElectroBolt 3!). I'm currently in the final area -- Point Prometheus and the Proving Grounds. Frank Fontaine's escaped me for the moment, so I'm going to have to suit up as a Big Daddy to get into his hidey-hole. After I loot things, of course. :p Still a few more memories to get, after all. Dunno if I'll finish this weekend, but I suspect by Christmas I'll be starting BioShock 2.
-->Had supper -- lasagna and veggies, heated up by yours truly. Nothing too complicated, and it was a nice meal with Dad.
-->Watched a video comparing "Create A Pet" through Sims 2, Sims 3, and Sims 4 (amazing to see how far it's all come), then proceeded onto Outside XBox Hitman videos! I had one in my Watch Later queue (the first assignment in the Game of the Year edition's new mission), and the newly-uploaded second assignment video came up as recommended while I was finishing that up. Agent 47 is taking down cultists, and Mike is doing so in a clown costume. Yes, I am dead serious. XD I love these guys, seriously. Also a video where they kill a guy in a custom contract that is a lot more complicated than it first looked. Fun watching them figure out the best way to fulfill all conditions, though.
-->Greeted Mom when she came home from her first day at work -- she likes the lady she's helping take care of right now, which is good.
So yeah, pretty nice afternoon/evening, all things considered. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving -- we're planning a nice homemade Chinese meal around 1, with Hot Fuzz as our viewing entertainment. Then Mom and I will take a small drive around so I can get in some last-minute practice before the test on Friday, and then -- I dunno. I'll probably be doing something with Sims 4, but will I succumb to the urge to get Cats & Dogs. . . It might be worth waiting to see if there's going to be any sales soon. . .
Something to ponder tomorrow, I think. Right now, I have some DW RP comments to answer, then probably another video or two. It's that kind of night. Hope you're all having a good one! See you later!
