Making Einie in Sims 4 is HARD, Yo

crossover_chickFor two key reasons:
A) Einstein's breed is undetermined, and two of the possibilities were not included in Sims 4: Cats & Dogs, so I had to improvise
B) Einstein was played by two different dog actors with somewhat different fur patterns, AND the Einstein from Back To The Future: The Game ALSO looks different
I FINALLY came up with a dog I liked, after a lot of tweaking and mixing breeds and heavily using paint mode to get some important fur details right (namely, the fact that Einy's ears are darker than the rest of him, and he has a "collar" of dark fur around his neck), but man. I was spoiled with Dinah (just a black cat) and Scraps (just use the skeledog fur pattern and adjust accordingly). Never got around to actually playing Emmett and Nikal's place, though I did merge in my Einstein (who is Hairy, Smart, and Adventurous -- seems him), so they're all ready to go for tomorrow. Whew, good thing I decided to take a short break between BioShock 1 and 2!
So, what did I accomplish today that WASN'T stressing out over a virtual dog?
-->Cleaning my room -- Mom actually gave the whole house a pretty thorough cleaning, but I was only responsible for own space, yay
-->Going up to Rite Aid with Mom -- she needed fake nails, I needed pads. Now have enough to last me a couple of months, I'm hoping.
-->Wrote another gift fic, inspired by my recent crop of Christmassy Forgotten Vows Headcanons -- just a few more to go!
-->Watching The Sim Supply's newest LP, "Rags To Riches: EXTREME" -- where he has to go from $0 to wealth WITHOUT selling to "invisible people." So he can't sell directly from inventory, can't sell paintings right off the easel, none of that. He's also decided he can't just mooch off people's houses. He's lucked out in managing to fish out a violin from a certain pond in Oasis Springs (yes, this is apparently a Thing That Happens), so his current goal is to play for tips and earn some starting dosh that way.
-->Watching the latest Outside XBox X-Mas Challenge -- Mike, with a little effort, owning a bunch of storm troopers as Yoda in Star Wars: Battlefront 2
-->Watching the latest The Evil Within 2 set by Helloween, where we had to listen to one of the main villains prattle on about "art" some more, Sebastian have to jump through some unnecessary hoops to get where he's going, and an admittedly kind of cool "gravity isn't always how you think it should be also avoid being seen otherwise tentacles" section that a commenter unfortunately pointed out is basically ripped wholesale from one of the Batman Arkham games. Meh. Still, fun times with Helloween bitching away about how annoying the villain is. XD
-->Getting Chapter 20 of "Secundus" up on AO3 -- just one away from completion!
-->Using that to get ahead on my queue again for VictorLuvsAlice, yay~
-->Helped Mom cook supper -- I now have basic knowledge of how one roasts a turkey and makes mashed sweet potatoes and gravy to go with it. Om nom nom.
-->Came up with some silly ship name stuff regarding Victor, Victoria, Emily, and Alice that'll I'll probably make a Thursday post on my tumblr XD

So yeah, pretty busy Saturday. At least I'm not bored. Tomorrow: Actually playing Sims 4 instead of just designing dogs; watching more episodes of "Wags to Riches" and Darkwood, writing more gift fic; making my muffins. *nods* For now, though, it's back to the RP business. Night all!
