Roleplay Explosion Evening

crossover_chickYeah, skipping the queue last night might have been a mistake. . .mainly because suddenly my ask box on there is a hive of activity, and between that and the threads I do have (including a new Christmas party one), I just can't keep up. Probably my own fault for a) not queuing yesterday and b) not getting on sooner, but I seriously didn't expect it to get this chaotic! Ugh, and I still have to put up the last chapter of "Secundus" too, and do my planned sneak peek of the sequel on my main tumblr, and answer some FF.net PMs, and. . .
Okay. One thing at a time. Bullet points for today:
-->Mom is now in possession of new glasses -- REAL glasses, no less. She went to the eye doctor and got a prescription and everything. They're working out well for her, but as they're super expensive, we're gonna have to be careful with them.
-->While she and Dad were out doing that, I wrapped up Dad's presents and made a "present pile" area in the living room. Also did the usual cleaning.
-->Watched the latest OX X-Mas challenges (Andy failed at making a stack of corpses in Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, mostly by getting killed himself; while Ellen managed to win the Oxtra challenges by besting Luke in a race from one mountaintop to another in GTA Online. Mostly because Luke kept getting himself killed during his go. :p); and the three latest episodes of "Wags to Riches" (one of the dogs actually ran away for a while! James was more concerned with spiting people who wanted him to move a particular tree on his lot by deliberately building an awful house around it, though XD).
-->Wrote some more on "The Technicolor Phase," as I'm pretty much done with gift fics! Working on the one where Alice is struggling (unnecessarily, as it will turn out) with telling Victor and Victoria that she'd like to join their polyamorous pile with Emily.
-->Played Sims 4 -- Wheatley finally got a promotion! I clawed my way through his work goals today, and it was at last enough to get him to Medical Techologist! He celebrated by working out with and getting engaged to Chell. :D I'd still like them to get married at the Romance festival, if at all possible, but now at least things are official between them! :) Also combined their separate rooms and got them a nice double bed as well. Because why not, they had the cash.
