Feeling A Little Better

crossover_chickI had my groggy moments earlier today, but I'm feeling a little more "me" right now. Period's tapering off, and I had to blow my nose less today, so that's good. Though I fell victim to a bit of nasty coughing and throat "itches" at points. You know, how the back of your throat can itch occasionally and the only thing you can do is cough? Yeah, like that. Hate that feeling. Good thing I've still got my cough drops. But yeah, thinking I'll be better by this weekend.
Today went pretty quickly, which was nice. Days are getting busier -- I'm helping my supervisor out in running some reports for the new capital campaign, so that's something. Imports will probably be getting bigger and more complex soon too. . .well, we'll get it sorted one way or another. I've survived the busy season before, and I shall do so again. The real question is, how long a day of work will I have tomorrow? Because we're expecting some icky weather, but it's not supposed to be a blizzard -- more of a nasty wintery mix that just makes travel "bleh." There was a little talk about a potential snow day, or at least a late start, but all signs right now point to just another day. Which I can deal with -- I mean, I got Monday off, it's already a short week. I just hope it's not TOO bad when I have to go in.
More writing this evening -- finished up another chapter in "Secundus 2" with the end of Marty's pep talk for Victor. Next up, shenanigans in Doc's shop! Including some initial Tannen trouble that doesn't go according to plan. Soon after that we'll be meeting Clara, and then there will be the festival. . .yes, I am sort of rewriting BTTF Part III here, but that's all part of the fun. :p I also did a very light Valice Multiverse queue (just asks and some fun posts people linked me to), and answered a few PMs. And chatted with my pal Nebby about her new Retail!AU, which has a very thorough timeline. Girl puts in the work on her AUs, let me tell you.
And now? Well, gonna wrap up a thing or two and then head to bed. Probably take some Nyquil to be on the safe side, but hopefully I can go without by Friday. Fingers crossed, anyway. . . Anyway, g'night all!
