crossover_chick: a vampire version of Alice Liddell and a human Victor Van Dort kissing (SIMS: Vamp!Alice and Victor Smooches)

Icky weather all day -- though that didn't stop my parents going out. They hit an antiques center in Greenville, got a few bits and bobs. Me, I stuck around the house all day, playing video games and watching videos. At least it was fun!

It was a very Sims-themed Sunday too -- let me give you the roundup:

-->Watched a video from the Sims VIP channel about the latest game pack that is forthcoming -- Jungle Adventures! It's basically a new vacation world with an adventuring element -- your Sims can explore an ancient temple, braving traps in an attempt to find rare and wonderful items. Should be fun!

-->Wrote another page on "Secundus 2" -- Clara has been rescued, and she and Doc are now having staring contests. Well, at least until Marty interrupts them to ask if she's the schoolteacher they were supposed to be expecting. XD Victor is only too happy to start joshing his friend about his romantic interests -- nice to be on the other side of that teasing now, eh Victor?

-->Watched all of The Sim Supply's latest videos, including a No Mistakes Build Challenge (basically, once you place anything, you have to live with it. James was pretty good about both following the rules and making a pretty decent house, though at the VERY END he moved a shrub when he wasn't supposed to), and the two latest episodes of "Wags To Riches" (James is going a bit low-key out of his mind thanks to various bits of glitchery, including his second vet clinic suddenly losing all its employees and forcing him to hire new ones, employees at both vet clinics not showing up for work, running into problems billing pet owners because of a locked-Sims-doors/open-pet-doors scheme he implemented to keep his exam rooms from being overrun, and his gardens always being in horrible states of disrepair. On the plus side, he's sold some more kittens, and finally completed the Friend To All Animals aspiration! So that's something).

-->Watched an episode of Sims Logic which tackled a special conversion of Sims 1 into full 3-D! Included some very amusing glitches the people making it, Simitone, have run into, like pets behaving as humans (the noted one was a dog washing dishes like a child would while floating in the air) XD

-->Played Sims 4 myself -- I've moved onto the McFlys, at long last! Today was mostly about Marty and Jennifer maxing two of their skills (Guitar and Painting respectively), and interacting with their toddler (FINALLY got him started on potty-training). I also had Jennifer and Marty try for another baby, and -- success! Jennifer is pregnant again!

And I didn't remember until they were in the act that I still had the "On A Ley Line" trait on the lot which increases your chances of twins. Eeep. So -- that might be a thing. Well, I was already planning on creating a second story anyway. . . Marty, license more songs and get that promotion already! (I have switched the lot trait with "Child's Play" so Douglas and whatever future children result from this pregnancy will earn skills faster. Because hey, gotta get Douglas to childhood too at some point!)

-->Did my VictorLuvsAlice and ValiceMultiverse queues, including the Wednesday Sims post -- which features a lot of Alice brainwarping Victor. Poor guy -- it's tough when your player has a thing for that!

-->Also made some Valicetines, since Wednesday is Valentine's Day! :D Three Sims-based one, and one plushy-based one. Hopefully people will like them.

-->Watched Helloween's newest Saturday LP -- Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble. Featuring Dixie and Kiddie Kong on an adventure to -- er -- well, just have adventures, it looks like. I'm not seeing much of a plot. Helloween isn't as enthusiastic about this one as the first two -- his nostalgia goggles are failing him a bit, and he admits that this one feels like where they started running out of ideas. He's still enjoying himself, but -- yeah, you can tell this one ain't his favorite. Ah well, sometimes walks down memory lane end that way.

As for me, I gotta walk to bed -- another full week coming up! Parish Weekly reports, yay. . . *sigh* At least there's a three-day weekend on the other side of this one! Night all!
