crossover_chickAnother day where I didn't get as much done as I'd hoped because it seemed I always had something else that I had to do. In this case, it was answering the phone -- one of my coworkers had to take a relative to a doctor appointment, so she was out of the office most of the morning, and then the other was constantly in and out for reasons I'm not quite sure of, so it was only me available to talk to people. And more calls are coming in about a mailing that used an old list and thus got sent to people who already made a gift, and I had to fix a bunch of duplicate and wrong parishes, and put on a pledge that our processing company missed, and get a replacement pledge card out, and do the credit card rejects, and wade my way through getting onto the processing company's card-scanning application, and work with my first export for the mailing files, and. . . Yeah. I did get a lot done, I suppose, it's just -- not the stuff I was PLANNING on getting done. Well, tomorrow is another day. . .
Evening's been a little calmer, if a little colder and snowier -- ick, it was really starting to come down when Dad and I headed for home. And to think it was so nice yesterday I had my window open for a while :( Anyway, got another page on "Secundus 2" -- the gang explaining bits of their backstory to Clara, such as the Incident With The Mayor and Victor's coming to Secundus. Fun times -- I like writing my characters trying to explain their weird lives to outsiders. XD At least Clara is On Board with all this weirdness. I also:
-->Watched a house build from The Sim Supply (a modern house with the living room downstairs and everything else upstairs), a list from OXBox (the grittiest reboots/sequels/spin-offs of franchises that just didn't work, including that weird super-grim Bomberman and Shadow the Hedgehog), and a Fun With Shorts about learning to budget (one of the more tolerable ones, at least, though of course Josh's riffing made it better)
-->Did some more of my VictorLuvsAlice queue, finishing off Saturday and the first half of Sunday, and drafting something for Magical Monday afterward

And now I am going to bed, as it is late and I am tired. One more day of this to get through. . .hopefully it won't be too icy in the morning. Night all!
