crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)

Not yet, anyway -- not sure what caused the tired last night, except probably "not getting enough sleep." Daylight Savings probably didn't help matters either. . . Gonna try and get to bed a bit earlier tonight, so here's a quick wrap-up of my day.

-->Wrote some more on "Secundus 2" -- some joshing of Doc that derailed into them talking about Victoria's past history with nearly getting married off to strangers (poor girl)

-->Watched Helloween's new Saturday LP: Bayonetta 2! :D Over a freaking hour for the first set, but I am all for Bayonetta's snark and super-fast combat. Niiiice~

-->Watched a couple of RabbidLuigi videos, including one on best 100% completion rewards -- didn't quite agree with him on his top pick -- a charm in Pokemon that makes it easier to find shinies. But then again, I don't play Pokemon and don't quite understand why shinies can make people go nuts. I mean, it's cool and all, but apparently they're so rare I wouldn't even find it worth it to seek them out. Ah well, different strokes. . .

-->Updated my MC Command Center, signed up for Sims 4 e-mails to get "Grim's Ghoulish Guitar," bought "Jungle Adventures," "Vintage Glamour" stuff, and "Laundry Day" stuff, and then finally actually played my game. Jennifer has had her baby -- and thank you Will Wright, it was a SINGLE girl! I've named her Marlene, natch. I even got to have the baby at the hospital, an option I've never gotten before! And, to my delight, Wheatley was the one to deliver the little bundle of joy! :D So that'll be a fun update.

-->Was informed by my father that A) my mother's eye surgery is actually TOMORROW (apparently the doctor moved it from Tuesday and they forgot to tell me), and B) we are expecting what appears to be a freaking BLIZZARD on Tuesday. So, uh, that's new. Seriously, the entire first half of March has been one storm after another! We might be getting over a foot of snow depending on how things go, and Dad's pretty sure I won't have work on Tuesday. Mom's eye surgery might be delayed too, given that she's supposed to have a follow-up appointment the very next day to see how things went, but if there's over a foot of snow on the ground. . . Doesn't help that the surgery takes place in Massachusetts. *grumble* We'll see about any updates tomorrow, I guess.

-->Watched The Sim Supply's next two episodes of his "Jungle Adventures" LP -- Katrina has moved in a potential mate she met on her many vacations to Selvadorada, Mario! And then proceeded to curse him because James really wanted to complete her Jungle Explorer aspiration. Now she's on the archaeology-focused aspiration, and has artifacts coming out the wazoo. James is starting to speed along in this LP a little more than I'd like -- sometimes I think he gets bored and just wants to get the darn thing over with. He's admitted in the past he cares less about the Sim aspect of the whole thing and more about building, sooo. . .

-->Did my Valice Multiverse queue and answered the stuff in my inbox

Solid night's work. Time to hit the sheets -- tomorrow's weather is supposed to be fine, so no avoiding work for me then! Night all!

Sounds like the kaboom that hit us. Stay safe, good luck, and best wishes to your mom.
