Wednesday, Do You Have To Be Like This?
Mar. 14th, 2018 11:35 pmIt's a bit later than I'd like to be writing this, so attempt at a quick sum-up:
-->Had an hour delay that I couldn't fully take advantage of (read: stay at home for) because my Mom had an eye doctor appointment and my parents wanted to take me into work in case the roads were bad. Roads were actually pretty good, to add insult to injury. (Although I did manage to get a post I wanted to make fully drafted out in the hour and a half I spent at work before actually GOING to work)
-->Parish Weekly Report Day -- those always eat up time like no one's business. Plus I had to do TWO imports, juggle some e-mails, and deal with the phone. And I have two projects sitting in my inbox that I'll have to do something with tomorrow. . .we'll see what happens
-->Mom's eye is healing all right, but she's naturally already sick of having to keep her head down all the time. Poor woman just cannot get comfortable. I feel bad for her, and it just makes things tough generally in the house.
-->On the more positive side, got some more of "Fixing You" done -- have edited the introduction of the Cannery Snark! A disgusting creature that vomits up its own guts as an attack. You really have to wonder at my brain sometimes. . .
-->Also got up the latest "Imagine Me and You" short I was working on: Tragedy or Blessing, on the fact that Chester's birthday is also the date Alice's family died. Why did my BTTF in-joke have to turn awkward? Ah well, at least the short is fluffy.
-->Did some queuing and answered some stuff on VictorLuvsAlice, yay productivity
-->Watched an OXBox list on weird video game cameos (such as Mario, Luigi, and Peach in a basketball game); LGR's review of the "My First Pet Stuff" pack for Sims 4 (he was salty, as is the norm with this pack); and a Deligracy house build with "Laundry Day" stuff (thought the bedrooms turned out pretty small, but the house itself looked pretty cool)
-->And I'm currently emptying out the inbox.
So yeah. Kind of a tough day for starters, but at least I got plenty done. And now it's time to go to bed and start the whole cycle over again tomorrow. Yaaaay. . . At least the snow's melting. Now all we have to hope is that this NEXT storm coming next week doesn't amount to anything. *sigh* Night all!
