crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)

Came a week later than I expected it to (remember how last Saturday I got really super tired and ended up playing hooky from tumblr RP?), but the red curse is finally here and I can get it over with. I hate when it doesn't come at the expected time -- PMS is bad enough without getting even more wound up over false alarms. Granted, it's not like my period is particularly fun either -- I've been super tired and generally "blah" all day -- but the anticipation is always the worst part.

Plus, it being Sunday, I didn't have a heck of a lot on my plate to keep me busy. Mostly sat around and watched YouTube videos -- a lot of RabbidLuigi lists, including one from all the way back in 2012! That was interesting. He's come a long way from those days, let me tell you. I also watched The Sim Supply and Deligracy do two collab builds in a "Finish My Build" challenge -- basically, one of them would build MOST of a house, putting some wallpapers and flooring and a bit of furnishing as they saw fit, then they'd hand it over to the other who would finish things off, without changing or moving anything the first builder had done. James did a modern build that Deli made really nice, and Deli did a complicated factory build that James worked his butt off to make a cute home. XD And there was the final set of the "Leon/Helena" campaign of Resident Evil 6 from Helloween and Klyka -- boss Derek is FINALLY down, and it only took, what, like six fights? And what killed him at last was a convenient spike over a fancy glass floor where his blood could make the Umbrella logo. Hells and Klyka were not particularly impressed. :p Plus there were unskippable credits afterward -- ain't this a great game? And there's apparently at least two more campaigns to go! I'm looking forward to it, in a train wreck kind of way.

On the writing side, got a bit more on "Secundus 2" -- Clara's arrived, and she's having a bit of a squee over some steampunk walkie-talkies Doc invented. As you do. Story remains kind of rambly, but again, first draft. And I'm looking forward to rewriting a few scenes, like the upcoming "can you fix my telescope" one. Richard is going to get poked numerous times while he tries to point out that the telescope probably isn't actually broken. XD

And on the gaming side, played some BioShock 2 -- I have defeated Father Simon Wales! After a SHIT TON of reloads and many, many deaths. *bonks head on desk* I mean -- I upgraded Incinerate to its second level to try and get some help, I bought trap rivets to set traps, I unleashed the bees multiple times, and I STILL couldn't help but use all my health kits! And then I got sent to the Vita Chamber twice. *grrr* At least when I went goodie exploring earlier I found some good stuff -- including one of Frank Fontaine's secret hideouts. Kind of miss that asshole. Next up is a quick look at the Little Sister Orphanage in the place before getting back to the plot.

And -- that was my day, basically. Not much else to say, especially with the tireds I've got. Gonna hit the sheets -- got work tomorrow, after all. We'll see how this week goes. Just gotta keep pushing on through. . .night!
