In which I thought I would be focusing on a certain project (getting the parish weekly reports out early) and instead was pulled in many other directions (getting the numbers for said parish reports, making up a list of people the CAP coordinator wants to e-mail to, doing some other reports for another coworker, trying to figure out this thing so our processing company can process credit cards and nobody, not even them, seems to understand what they need to do it). I mean, I got a few things done, including the big important one of getting the numbers, but. . . And when I got home, I got told I've been opening the garage door whenever I leave from the driveway because I'm so used to using that button to close it after leaving from the garage. I understand I needed to be told, and I'm glad they did, it just annoys me I've been making that mistake. Hmph. Must try harder in future.

Writing went decently well, at least -- polished up some of the rougher parts of the last bit I wrote on "Fixing You" and did a Cannery Snark fight, followed by the return of the Conglomeration. This part of the fic is kind of Victor and Alice running from one fight to another before they reach the town square, then moving into the second "boss fight" with the Colossal Nell. It's a bit frustrating because I can picture in my head how it should be happening, like a video game level, but it's hard to translate into words. Just doing my best, though. I also got my Sims post detailing the birth of Marlene McFly queued up on my main tumblr, so that's something.

YouTubery of the night: A RabbidLuigi video about good games with bad stories (where you're definitely only there for the gameplay) and Helloween's latest set of System Shock 2 (creepy cyborg midwives and disturbing audio logs of people being assimilated into a hive mind everywhere -- you know, the good stuff). Fun times, to be sure.

And now it's time to go to bed, as I have four more days to get through of this week. Or, well, I assume so -- we'll see how that potential storm turns out later this week! Night all!
