Today Was Supposed To Be BETTER

crossover_chickI blame Blu-Ray shenanigans -- my parents went and got a new one, only for it not to do anything it said it would do when Mom looked it up online. No wi-fi connections, and we couldn't figure out how to get it to play internet content, like YouTube. Mom ended up looking up if there was any way to fix our old one, and lo and behold, resetting back to factory defaults did the trick! So Mom and Dad took the new one back, and we're just working with our old one again for now. Mom and Dad were understandably annoyed, as was I. Stressed us all out -- and it didn't help everybody was hungry because the whole incident led to us eating lunch late. Meeeh.
I also didn't get as much done online as I hoped -- I'd wanted to watch both Linkara's Final Crisis review AND Helloween's latest Deadly Premonition set, but:
A) It was cleaning Saturday, and I took some extra time not only to dust things a little more thoroughly, including my heating vent, but also to Locktite down my Corpse Bride toys so I can dust them without worrying about snagging them and flinging them off the shelves (this has happened with one of my little Scraps -- SOMEHOW he was all right). I also had to glue my little Bonejangles back together when his ankle gave out while I was moving him to stick him in place.
B) My writing today was still of the "private AU" sort, and -- okay, it was steamy (to me) in nature, and it ALWAYS takes me longer to write that sort of thing. Mostly because my brain keeps skipping ahead and I've got to force myself to concentrate. On the plus side, I got a lot DONE on said private AU, but still. Need to learn how to budget my time more effectively with these things!
So yeah, between that, fitting in BioShock 2 (have I mentioned lately how much I LOATHE Houdini Splicers? And Spider Splicers? At least I've saved one of the three Little Sisters in this level -- and got to have lots of fun with Cyclone Trap 2 XD), and a late supper (Twin's Pizza, om nom), I only had time for one. Chose Final Crisis to get it out of my queue and because it was the shorter of the two. Good ride, even if these mega events always leave me kind of confused since I don't keep up with comics. But it had a BTTF 3 clip, so that makes it okay in my book. XD
And I managed to get up another Scene from Secundus: hallelujah, which I guess is appropriate enough for Easter. Time to drop that into my VictorLuvsAlice queue, then get to work on more of the RP thing over on ValiceMultiverse. Night all! We'll see how Sunday goes!
