Fairly Okay Day
Apr. 19th, 2018 11:39 pmWeather was utterly miserable, but I'm slowly getting used to that. Work went by at a reasonable pace, though once again I am running into problems with that one parish and the capital campaign stuff. I thought I had the check business all figured out, but. . . *sigh* One of these days! Hopefully tomorrow.
I also found out that I've put on a fair bit of weight again. Fortunately I've already started working out regularly after work (I'm looking up stuff I can do on YouTube), but I've decided this also calls for something a little more drastic -- cutting down massively on my desserts. Only eating ice cream on weekends now, and only a small amount. That's gotta make a difference. Ah, the perils of being 31 and having an office job. . .
On the plus side, I got another page written on "Secundus 2" (the Tannens have been roundly defeated, but now popular opinion seems to be against my mains; mostly because Gordon said some nasty things and got them all riled), and I got my queues done for both The Valice Multiverse and VictorLuvsAlice! I've found a bunch of songs on the work radio that I like, so I'm set for Song Saturday for a bit, which is nice. :) Am running low on Alice and Corpse Bride stuff to reblog, though. . .might have to do a little trolling this weekend.
I also got a chance to watch some stuff -- Jay making a parody video of Yandere Dev (as Yandere Dev did a parody Kubz Scouts video on April 1st); James showing off some items from the latest Sims 4 update (some decorative items that had been split apart, one of which has what looks like a reference to him in its description!); a comparison of puppies throughout the Sims series (it annoys me that Sims 4 doesn't have tug-of-war ropes for dogs now -- Sims 3 had 'em!); another "Super Sim" episode (Max has completed two more aspirations, "Master Chef" and "Renaissance Sim!" Making lots of progress!); and a "Fun With Shorts" about teasing (which involved the word "tattletale" despite the fact that I'm pretty sure the actors in the short are supposed to be teenagers). So that was fun. Always nice to have a little free time.
And now it's time for bed. One more day to go this week. . .hopefully Friday will be good. Fingers crossed, everyone! G'night!
