Slow Down Sunday
Apr. 22nd, 2018 11:58 pmWhich led to me doing some proper lazing at the end of the day and thus doing this update way too late. Bullet points then:
-->Wrote some more on "Secundus 2," finishing up the group leaving the festival and reassuring Victor he needn't feel guilty for Gordon's actions. Next up, a villain POV section, and then we start winding toward the climax!
-->Watched the latest two parts of Helloween's Deadly Premonition LP -- one part was dramatic, with another major female character dying off (in a very traumatic way for one of the officers) and one of the other characters spilling the beans on his terrible childhood; and one part was homey fun doing sidequests (with a special emphasis on helping Emily with her cooking -- the woman has no sense of taste at ALL). Good times. I also watched the latest Bayonetta set -- Bayonetta has defeated a queen of Hell, and Rodin turned said queen into a weapon for her. And now she's been thrown back in time and is fighting by her mother's side in the past. Also good times!
-->Played some Sims 4 -- Eric had a less-than-successful day at work. I arrested my first innocent person! What I get for not adding all clues to the crime scene board, I guess. At least his work performance still went up. And after work he had a cute alien guy over, Andy, and started flirting with him. We'll see if it goes anywhere!
-->Watched another "Super Sim" episode -- James ruthlessly exploited the "taking things out of personal inventories and putting them back in counts as a new thing" bug to get close to finishing the Outdoor Retreat aspiration. Not quite there yet, though -- Max's vacation to Granite Falls ended before he could fulfill sleeping five nights in a tent, AND he lost the tent thanks to it teleporting him back to his house. At least he has plenty of plants to practice his herbalism skills with!
-->Did a very simple Valice Multiverse queue and caught up on the stuff in my inbox, and chatted with a friend about D&D monsters he'd found that would be good for Wonderland and/or my "Lovecraft Jazz" AU. Usual stuff.
And that's about it -- gotta get myself to bed. Another full week of work looms. . .keep your fingers crossed this Monday isn't as rough as last Monday. *nods* Night all!
