Another Long Day

crossover_chickOne of my coworkers was out sick again, so I had to do some of her work in addition to my own again. Although I should say -- even with that, I got what I meant to get done, done. The only thing that fell to the wayside a bit was the capital campaign stuff with that one parish, and that was because the lady and I were talking about the billing file I made up for them, and making sure everything on it was right. I've got some corrections to make and some other people to get on there, sooo. . .that'll be part of the festivities tomorrow.
On the plus side, the weather was actually decent today! Sunny and in the 60s! I ended up taking two walks -- one during lunch, and one after I got out of work. Feels good to be able to get out in the fresh air and get some exercise. :) Tomorrow's supposed to be decent too, then I think the rain comes back in again. Meh -- just gotta enjoy the good stuff while it lasts, I suppose.
Evening's been pretty good -- I got another decent-sized chunk done on "Fixing You," and watched the latest System Shock 2 set from Helloween. Eggs have been slain, turrets have been hacked, Invisibility was abused, one particular pit was fallen into a lot. XD We're getting close to the endgame now -- and SHODAN is talking creepily about alliances. Oh dear. I also got a little more VictorLuvsAlice queue done -- Sims 4 posts, natch. Trying to keep ahead of things. . .
And now it's time for me to hit the sack. Gotta get through the rest of this week. . .keep your fingers crossed we don't have any major crises this time! Night all!

Date: 2018-04-24 04:30 pm (UTC)Actually in my case it's sweetened half-and-half with tea flavoring but half-and-half didn't come around until the 1950s. I think it tastes better than milk, however. XD
