Mother's Day Quiet

crossover_chickMostly because we did the majority of our celebrating (the plant run) earlier this week. Though Dad and I did give her our cards, which she liked, and she and Dad finished almost all of the planting (Mom even got a few new flowers for some special pot holders she has) and went to a local flea market and got a new picture. So that was nice. A very low-key holiday -- that's how we like 'em around here.
So yeah, not a lot happened today. The weather was supposed to get nicer as the day went on, but it stayed kinda overcast and chilly the whole day. I ended up doing one of my saved YouTube exercise videos instead of going out for a walk like I expected. :( I also only got to one of my video games -- BioShock 2. I've destroyed all of Alex the Great's relays and opened up the way to the main Plasmid Lab. I haven't actually gone over there yet, though, since I swear there's more to find in the part of the level I'm currently in. Specifically, there's a third floor that it LOOKS like I should be able to get to. . . I did a little exploring, but no dice yet. I'll keep looking. I'd hoped to get to Sims 4 too, but no dice. Ah well, I'm still a little ahead on my updates, so that's okay.
I did finally get back to watching "Super Sim" -- Max has maxed out herbalism and writing now, completed the Tech Guru career path and started the Writer one, gotten himself a fiancee, and has had a child -- a daughter named Maxine! He also got abducted by aliens, but that didn't result in anything exciting (aka an alien baby), sadly. Also the house has been remodeled and it looks crazy-awesome. :D Has a home theater, a gym, a massage room, a lab, a rocket launch pad, a study, a giant portrait of Max -- the works. XD I'm looking forward to catching up more on this series!

-->Reworked the gift fic for this Wednesday -- that should be all good to go now, yay~
-->Watched a RabbidLuigi video on bad game marketing, and ventured into a video about Welcome To The Game (a horror game about browsing the deep web) from The Kubz Scouts just because I was curious to see how it played. (Annoyingly, it seems -- who makes a game about web browsing and doesn't allow you to MAXIMIZE THE BROWSER WINDOW??)
-->Got my Valice Multiverse queue done, and I'm about to empty out the inbox again
And -- that's about it, really. ^^; Like I said, quiet Sunday. *deep sigh* Back to normal tomorrow, though. Hopefully there isn't too much chaos waiting for me at work. . .just have to remember -- two full weeks, then I get a three-day weekend. Then I'll work on figuring out June. *nods* Night all!
