Little Interruption Tuesday?

crossover_chickYeah -- once again, I had a lot to do, but not a lot of people breathing down my neck to do other things. It's actually become a very weird sensation NOT to be pestered so much. O.o But hey, I got the stuff I needed to get done, done, including some imports and the capital campaign reports. Tomorrow is the usual parish weekly reports, broken up by having to take a phone call from that one parish. Ah well -- we are getting closer to making sure everything with that parish matches up again. I appreciate it muchly. Hopefully soon I won't have to worry about it so much anymore. . .
Weather today was a bit strange -- we started off kind of gloomy, then got gorgeous around noontime (I went for a very enjoyable walk), then shortly before it was time to go home, it clouded up a LOT. By the time I got home, it was starting to thunder. The weathermen were predicting strong winds and hail, but fortunately we didn't see those -- just some heavy rain and lightning. Had to find me a new exercise routine to do for today! Got something good, though -- and tomorrow I should be able to go out walking. Hell, I may have to -- Dad's truck died while he and Mom were out today, and it's currently at our mechanic. He might have it fixed by tomorrow afternoon, or he might not -- and if it's not, then I'm going to have to take a bus, and walk home from a nearby stop. Not horrible, but not ideal either. Fingers crossed the truck can be fixed quickly!
Other than that, been a decent night, all things considered. Wrote some more on "Secundus 2" (setting up a few pieces before Doc brings in the train), then read some more of Deadly Premonition's TV Tropes page while waiting for the weather to clear so I could take my shower. Then I did a little more of my VictorLuvsAlice queue, then watched Helloween's latest set of his Alice: Madness Returns revisit. He still hates the Mock Turtle with a passion. XD And he keeps making me nervous by looking like he's going to miss things, then going back and exploring properly. Darn you, Helloween! Though I suppose that's my own "100% completionist" nature when it comes to this game coming to the forefront. It is great to see him replay the game, and gush about it all over again. He really does love the Alice series, and it's just so sweet to hear him go on about it. :)
And then it was the usual catch-up, and queueing on ValiceMultiverse (quiet tonight, just a few asks). And now I'm going to take care of my DW comment and probably hit the sack. Still pretty warm tonight. . .supposed to cool down tomorrow, but still be in the 60s. Then a nice day Thursday -- then four days of rain, right through the weekend. *grumbles* I hope we don't get a repeat of this weather pattern for Memorial Day. I'd like to be able to enjoy it properly. Meh. Anyway, good night!
