Very Annoying Friday

crossover_chick-->Work was one of those days, with a coworker down (she apparently woke up with her neck killing her), and me having to help the other coworker try and get something sorted with a parish batch while trying to do screenshots for the new system people and get some reports done and all sorts of other stuff. Next week isn't looking much better on that front -- Monday in particular is going to be LOADED with shit for me to do. Ugh.
-->Weather was on the cooler side, which didn't make getting out for a walk pleasant. (Especially since I had to go to the bank to get actual paper money for my wallet -- I was down to my last five.) At least it didn't rain. . .tomorrow's supposed to be truly icky, though. And then Sunday -- warmer, but they're talking humid, which isn't exactly great. We'll see.
-->I have managed to wear holes in the linings of my black shoes, and my attempt at covering them with tape didn't work out very well. I now have a blister on the bottom of my left foot. *grumbles* Mom fortunately said that I don't actually need new shoes -- just insoles. Somewhat less expensive. Still, it's a good thing it's gonna be icky tomorrow -- I need to try and stay off my foot so that blister goes down and I can actually get out walking again.
-->Had to take the bus home again this afternoon, which wasn't particularly fun when coupled with the aforementioned shoe situation. On the plus side, Dad's truck is fixed (although he's still a little worried about it), so hopefully that's the last of that. Fingers crossed, everyone!
-->Got another bit done on "Fixing You" -- reworking Victor and Alice waking up post-their trip through his head and what happens afterward some. Mostly by showing Victor's problems haven't quite magically gone away, even though he has literally beat them up. He's definitely better, though. Slowly but surely making my way back to the fluff, and to the conclusion! :)
-->Watched a Kubz Scouts video on a game all about fixing up houses for people (cleaning up and painting were the skills Jay got during his brief playthrough), and another episode of "Super Sim" (Max finally wrote his final bestseller, and has moved onto the Musical Genius aspiration; Max Jr. is now a child; and James tried and failed multiple times to trap and kill his maid because he hates the guy XD). So that was fun, at least.
-->Current goal -- get my queues set up for tomorrow on my tumblrs, and tackle the frankly ludicrous amount of comments in my inbox. -.-; If I'd been able to concentrate more at lunch, maybe it wouldn't be so daunting. . .nothing to do but roll up my sleeves and get it done, though. Night all!
