Oh There Are All My Interruptions

crossover_chickUsual "everyone wants a piece of me" day at work -- trying to get the things I NEED to get done, done, while being yanked this way and that by other projects and people needing my help and computer problems (I loathe our database program, have I mentioned that lately?). Add in that it was kind of a gray, miserable day, and that didn't help my mood at all. Tomorrow's supposed to be better weather-wise, but I don't hold out much hope for work. *deep sigh* I really wish it was easier to just let this stuff go when I'm out of the office. . .I'm sick of feeling frustrated and on-edge so much of the time.
Evening has been a little better. I did one of my YouTube workouts, wrote some more on "Secundus 2" (the climactic train bit is heating up, and taking a few unexpected twists and turns -- I'm not entirely happy with the actual writing, but I keep reminding myself this is a first draft and it will be much improved once I get the initial ideas down and then let it sit for a bit), watched Helloween's latest Castlevania: Lords of Shadow set (game remains pretty, except for the super-creepy GIANT SPIDERS), and did my Valice Multiverse queue. Usual stuff for a Tuesday night. Gonna finish emptying out my inbox, then try to get to bed a touch earlier than I did yesterday. Need my sleep and all. We'll see how tomorrow goes. Hopefully this isn't going to be too bad of a week for making me "earn" my days off. . .night all!
