Another Day of The Usual

Work was stressful and annoying, as has become the norm. I finished those reports I had to do, only to have to REDO them tomorrow because apparently they need different information, and I only got about halfway through the weekly reports. . .also I had to explain something like three times to one of my coworkers because she Just Wasn't Getting It. *sigh* I really can't let myself think about it too much because then I get all pissed off about it again. Just two more days, Vic, just two more days. . .

Weather was much better, though -- got in two good walks today, and I've currently got the windows open and the fan on. Supposed to cool off a bit tomorrow, but still be about 70 -- I'll take it. My afternoon was much better too:

-->Got a solid chunk edited on "Fixing You," with Victor clearing up something from the first chapter with Abigail and then talking with Alice about some stuff -- they'll be setting the wedding date shortly, and then it's onto the wedding chapter itself

-->Dad ended up going to his friend around the corner to get some books, so I had my supper on my own with a "Fun With Shorts" (Andy learns to take care of things after wrecking everything around him)

-->Also caught up on a "Fun With Shorts" 15th Anniversary special of clips from old episodes (yes, Josh has been doing the series for 15 years!), Linkara's latest episode (Stan Lee imagines Green Lantern as a guy empowered by the Tree of Life instead of a Space Cop -- not a bad story, but execution was a bit clumsy), and another episode of "Super Sim" (Maxine is excelling in her child aspiration; Max is progressing nicely in Musical Genius; the maid was trapped but then James felt sorry for him and let him go; another baby, Maximilian, was born and promptly ignored)

-->Did more queuing for VictorLuvsAlice -- set right through Friday now, hooray :)

And now I have to answer one last comment in my inbox and then hit the sheets -- bed is a must, after all. We'll see how tomorrow goes. Night all!

You may already know this but I got an email from EA today saying that Sims 4 is getting a "Seasons" expansion on June 22. This makes me excited. :)

I did NOT know that -- I didn't see that e-mail in my inbox! Which is weird, I am signed up for those updates (if only to get the guitar). . . I just rushed off to YouTube and saw the new trailer. EXCITE. :D Victor's totally gonna take up beekeeping, and omg I can send him and Alice on that rollerblading date I want them to have so much :D

I REALLY hope the seasons can be customized like they were in 2. I had one neighborhood who had one summer and three winters (I wanted to see, if it snowed enough, if the kids would have a snow day...I didn't get far enough to find out). I gave the neighborhood the description "Winter and July". XD

That would be cool -- LOL, I never tried that myself, but it sounds like a fun experiment. I wonder if kids will get snow days in Sims 4? Hmmm. . . At any rate, I think I read somewhere about being able to do a custom holiday at least? I really need to spend some time researching what's been revealed this weekend. :)
