Now That's How You End A Work Week

crossover_chickOffice was super-quiet -- few phone calls, and my boss wasn't in, so I couldn't be pestered by him to do more stuff. One of my coworkers wasn't in either, but I was able to pick up a few of her duties pretty easily, take care of a few issues that arose from the phone calls, and complete the main things I had scheduled for today. AND we got out early because of the long weekend. So yeah, definitely one of my better days at work.
Afternoon's been nice too -- finished off edits on the penultimate chapter of "Fixing You," with Victor and Alice setting their wedding date, then getting surprise-hugged by a super-excited June. XD Next chapter is the actual wedding -- though I MAY be skipping back a bit and seeing if I can add one more bit to this story. This is the story where June and Bonejangles are confirmed to be siblings, but while I have Bonejangles finding out about June, I don't have a matching scene of her finding out about Bonejangles. Add in that I feel the story needs at least one more Alice POV chapter to help balance things a little more between her and Victor, and I would like to show at least some of their Oxford visit. . .it'll require some tweaking, but I'll see what I can do.
I also went on my usual walk (though annoyingly, I managed to chew up my heel -- I bought thicker socks so that WOULDN'T happen, darn it), and watched a bunch of YouTube! To whit:
-->RabbidLuigi list about surprisingly good video games (included the Mario/Rabbids game, natch :p)
-->List of awful hotels in video games from the OXBox crew (both the haunted hotel in Vampire: the Masquerade -- Bloodlines and the murdery one in Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth were mentioned, yay)
-->Helloween's latest A:MR Revisit set (we have traversed the Vale of Doom -- though not without crashing. Helloween fell victim to an overload of Physx effects and that one glitchy Radula room)
-->A really bland and silly short about clean water on "Fun With Shorts" (fortunately Josh had some EXCELLENT riffs)
Good stuff. :) Nice to feel like I have time for things again.
Speaking of which -- I've gotten my queues on tumblr more or less done, so time to take care of the DW stuff in my inbox. Gotta keep on top of that! Night all!
