crossover_chickWas another kind of lazy day for me -- not a lot to do, and that was just fine by me. I'm gonna have enough piled on me when I get back to work tomorrow. My activities consisted largely of:
-->More wandering the TV Tropes website (looking up interesting tropes, as you do)
-->Writing some more on "Fixing You" -- as implied in a past update, I've gone back to just after the incident where Victor had trouble exiting the Land of the Dead, and I'm adding in a new short chapter focused on Alice's POV where we see a bit of them in Oxford, and then them telling June about her brother. Although I've already come up with a possible better way to do one of the sequences. . .darn it, brain, why are you like this?
-->Watching Jay play some more free random games, then an additional video on one of the games, a horror game masked as a really low-budget edutainment game (though it doesn't mask very well -- the guy put a warning at the very beginning just in case some parent saw it and thought SOMEHOW it was appropriate for their child). It's a weird little title that I didn't watch that much of because jumpscares, but I appreciate the guy's dedication to how crap his title is supposed to look, and how effective it was despite that. :p
-->Watching more "Super Sim" -- poor James, he was SUFFERING with the "Party Animal" aspiration. XD He clearly hates parties, and it doesn't help that his social events now tend to glitch out somehow (for example, the birthday party for middle child Max Jr had a timer that kept resetting itself hour by hour -- SOMEHOW, thanks to conquering a bugged "toast" interaction, James managed to get gold on that) and he's so used to using super speed he has trouble slowing down. But he's gotten to the what I believe is the third level of the aspiration, so that's good. And he's almost done with "Joke Star," so that's something too. :)
-->Went for a walk! Yeah, it didn't really get nice out (some clearing mid-afternoon, but then it just clouded up again), but it got warmer, so that was good. Tomorrow's supposed to be back to summery again, with Wednesday and Thursday a bit cooler, and then rain coming in Friday and Saturday from that first tropical storm currently hitting the Gulf. Meh, I say to you, weather. Meeeeeeeh.
-->Watched "Call Me Kevin" play a cute and silly Playmobil game, a favorite from his childhood. Good stuff -- and first time I actually saw the guy! Not the fact I expected to go with that voice.
-->Queued up some more posts for VictorLuvsAlice -- done through Thursday now, yay~
And now I'm emptying the inbox before going to bed. Sure to be a busy day tomorrow -- hopefully I won't get pestered too much. I've got stuff to catch up on. Just gotta take it one day at a time. . . Night all!
