Happy Halloween, Everyone!
Oct. 31st, 2004 10:42 pmWe didn't get too many kids this year. A lot of the kids in this area are older, so they don't trick-or-treat. I have a lot of mini Tootsie Rolls left. Gave away all the tootsie pops too. Mom took pictures of me in costume, and I took some pictures of Einy wearing my DeLorean hat.
-D: You mean the one you got off eBay?-
Yup. Old Ride merchandise. I hope you all like them when we get them developed.
-M: I'm sure they'll be fine.-
*nodnod* *grins* You guys look really good.
-M: *howls*-
-VD: *grunts*-
-VD2: *bares fangs*-
-D: *flips weird-looking switch*-
*Electricity crackles over a Happy Halloween message*
Eep! When'd you rig up that?!
-D: *evil grin* This morning.-
Certainly sends an impression. :)
My Simmies had a very cool Halloween Party. I actually kinda played it twice -- I messed up with the Thinking Cap again, so I redid the last half. Anyway, on Saturday, the boys went to town and bought some costumes -- Doc a kilt, George a pirate outfit, Marty a cowboy outfit. Doc also did air guitar while telling a joke to Marty. :p When they got home, Marty went out with Jennifer to raise his aspiration score -- it's getting tough to keep it up with these guys. Doc and George chatted and greened themselves up.

On Sunday, the boys got into costume and picked up their decorations.
Doc and Marty examine the Dead Guys in a Cauldron
Marty as the Lone Ranger
George as a Viking
Doc as William Wallace, Scottish defender
Grooving to the radio
I decided that, for full effect, the party should start at around 4-5 P.M. so the guests could see the glowing decorations. I had the boys prepare for their party by greening and fulfilling what wants they could. Doc had his pal Abijeet over early to play with and appreciate him. I've noticed something interesting about his social wants -- he generally wants to do stuff with Clara or Mystie. Hmm. After studying mechanical, George's mood was going sour, so I had him use the Energizer to perk up.
Marty was chosen as host of the party (hey, he's the popularity Sim), and I had him invite two guests -- Tina and Jennifer. George asked Lorraine over, she brought her pal Pollination Tech. Doc had Clara over as well, so it was a pretty big party. I had George serve layer cake for all the guests, and I did my best to keep them all entertained and fed.
Marty, Tina, and Doc in the decorations
I had George do some flirty interactions with his beloved Lorraine, of course, like Marty squeezed Jennifer and let himself be caressed. So I decided something. Those two deserve to be engaged. So, I had George propose.
George proposes to Lorraine
-M: Woo! Way to go Dad!-
-J: *giggle* Did she accept?-
Did she ever! They were all happy and did more flirting later. I found it amusing that Marty got embarrassed when they flirted -- he was moaning, covering his face. . . .
-M: *blush* Come on, you don't expect that from your parents.-
That's not all. I'd moved the tub and sink outside to put in some bathroom stalls for the guests. Lorraine went to the tub. Marty followed her to tell her a joke.
Lorraine ran a bath, got undressed, and climbed in. Marty was understandably shocked.
-M: Eek! Mine eyes!-
-D: *baffled* She took a bath at our house during the party?-
Yup. I guess she figured, she's engaged to George --
-M: No excuse.-
The party was a roof raiser, which was very nice. The boys cleaned up, sent the guests home, and started getting out of costume. Sheer exhaustion prevented Doc and Marty from changing their everyday outfits, but George is back to normal.
Well, I'm tired, so Happy Halloween again all!

Wow! What a party!
Date: 2004-11-01 01:46 am (UTC)I didn't do anything for Halloween in 'Sims 2' because I've got a big assignment to do on Wednesday and a report and everything, so that's my tale of woe.
But keep on updating! I look forward to George and Lorraine's wedding.
BTW how is Hill Valley going, have you had any luck printing out that map?
Re: Wow! What a party!
Date: 2004-11-01 07:20 am (UTC)Don't worry about the wedding, I'm planning a party with the arch. Don't know yet whether George will move in with the girls or Lorraine with the boys yet. I might have George get his own house.
I've got placer houses for where I think some stuff should go. I might need to borrow my mom or dad's computer to print out the map as it's supposed to look.
