Things Might Add Up

crossover_chickWith that one parish that did capital campaign stuff early, that is -- I spent most of my workday trying to get that sorted, more or less. I got in some gifts that needed to be put on, ran some summaries, talked to one of the fiscal people about it. . .we're actually pretty close, but there's still more data-mining that needs to be done. And of course we haven't talked seriously about the online portion of the whole thing yet. Ugh. At least maybe I can see the end of this on the horizon -- if the lady at the parish gets back to me with her insights on the online stuff. Fingers crossed. . .
Day went by quickly, at least, and the afternoon was decent -- usual walk, got a solid page on "Secundus 2" (wrapping up things in Hill Valley with the mayor -- still need to get Marty and Jennifer married, though), watched another episode of "Super Sim" (Max is now a "Friend of the World," (via abuse of the "ask to cloudgaze" option -- raises friendship really fast), and is making decent progress on the other two Popularity aspirations. Also the caterer died at the youngest kid's birthday party, which still got Gold Level rewards XD) and another "Fun With Shorts" (another one about fishing -- Josh's riffs were SAVAGE. I think he genuinely dislikes sport fishing), and got my queues done. I DID get distracted for a bit rereading the early days of "Narbonic" (I was linking it for tomorrow's Forgotten Vows Friday post on VictorLuvsAlice), but I managed to pull myself away before I went into full archive binge mode. Gotta remember, it's not Friday yet. . .
Also gotta remember that I have an inbox full of comments I gotta answer. Need to get on that. *nods* Off I go! Night all!
