Free Web Page Hosting got itself disqualified. Those people have the nerve to ask me where I live (heck, they even ask (optionally, *whew) the street address) and the household income! Yes, I'm fully aware I could lie, but it's the principle of the thing, damn it. I'm half-certain asking for the income is illegal. And even if it isn't, that's awful nosy for a free service.
-M: *annoyed, scratching face* Yeah, what business it is of theirs if you're not paying?-
Exactly. *notes scratching* Glue rash?
-M: *nodnod*-
It'll go away soon, don't worry.
-J: *comes in with crazy hair* It'll probably go away faster than my hairspray. This stuff is tougher to wash out than I thought.-
-VJ: *comes in with shampoo and water basin* I'll help you give it another scrub.-
The aftereffects of Halloween costumes. . . .
-VJ: The Docs and VampMarty were lucky, their costumes weren't like this.-
Have you smelled VampDoc? The oil he put in his hair to smooth it down stinks!
-VD: *poking head in* I thought I was grabbing an unscented brand.-
*Loud "YEOW!" from outside*
What was that?
-M: *worried* Sounded like Doc! He told me he was trying to take down his Halloween message.-
Eeep! *runs outside to see if he's okay, with Marty*
*returns with Marty, VampMarty, and slightly crisped Doc*
-D: *whimper* That hurt.-
-VM: I told you the circuits weren't dead! You're really lucky, Doc.-
My poor baby. *huggles* Let's get you to bed and I'll call a doctor. *puts Doc to bed*

Do you mean...

Free Webhosting people in general? Because they're all like that- wanting to know the country you live in, that's why all my Yahoo email address have .au at the end.

Although as far as income I know Geocities didn't ask that, or they made it optional and some other place didn't either, although I don't remember which one. :O/

Anyway, I hope you find a webhost place sooner rather than later.

Oh and take good care of Doc (I know you will! ;O)

I don't mind about the country so much, but to actually offer a field for the street address? And I still think the income thing is none of their freaking business.

I've got a few hosts lined up -- one made me laugh, that's hopefully a good sign. I looked for ones with a lot of storage space because of my stories.

And Dockie's starting to feel better. I had Jean come in and look at him (she's a doctor, ya know.) *pause* Or maybe you don't, did you watch X-Men and X-2?

I love the X-Men!

I've got them on DVD! My favourites are Gambit and Rogue, the former unfortuantely hasn't shown up in any of the movies.

Although in the comics Jean isn't a doctor at all...in fact I don't remember there being a medical doctor who's a Mutant at the X-Mansion...hmmm, weird.

But I'm glad Jean was able to assist in Doc's recovery.
