crossover_chick | Quiet, Chilly Saturday

It annoys me a smidge that, more than halfway through June, we still get days where I need long pants and a sweatshirt, or long pajamas and socks, to feel warm. *grumble* At least it never thunderstormed, like they said it was going to on the weather. . .and tomorrow's supposed to warm up some again. Although they're talking rain too. . .we'll see how it goes.

Other than that, though, it was a decent enough Saturday:

-->Cleaning done, as per usual -- although I snagged one of my DeLoreans with the duster and sent it crashing to the floor, where two wheels broke off (it's a Part II one with the hover conversion wheels). The really annoying thing is that this one broke before, while we were moving, and I already had to glue a wheel back on. Mom fixed it up for me with some hot glue. Hopefully she won't have to do so a third time!

-->Edited a piece of "The Technicolor Phase" -- the new snippet I wrote from BJ's POV, since I felt it weird to have POV pieces for Victor, Victoria, Emily, Alice, and Lizzie, but not him. Planning to sprinkle a few more in here and there too -- might be useful for covering scenes I didn't show before. Tempted to also just start posting a few of the earlier ones, since those are already edited. . . Hmmm. We'll see if I think I have enough of a buffer.

-->Played some more BioShock 2 -- Sinclair is dead, thanks to me finding the code to his security office (by accident -- I was looking at something else and didn't realize the code was there too until he suddenly messaged me thanking me for finding it). He actually wasn't particularly tough (I don't find any of the Alphas that hard -- not surprised they were decommissioned), but it was a sad moment. :( He really was a jerk in the backstory, but he was genuinely a friend to Delta and Eleanor. Now Lamb's sabotaged our way out, so I've gotta collect Little Sisters to help Ellie raise the thing. While looting, of course -- no audio diary left unturned! :p

-->Watched Linkara's latest episode -- another round of Batman Odyssey. Which -- was actually better than its first issue! Less disjointed, more interesting stuff happening. . .still some silliness, but much more ENJOYABLE silliness (such as Bruce actually taking a criminal aside to explain why a hydrogen fuel cell car wouldn't blow up -- after the scientist hostage AND HIS DAUGHTER already tried to explain it. Guy was thick). Always nice to see a bad comic actually improve a little. Some hidden text during an "EXTREME!!!" joke makes me worried about future plotlines, though. . .

-->Watched a bunch of Deligracy videos about EA Play and The Sims 4: Seasons. She actually won an award in LA for being "Sims 4 Game Changer of the Year!" So good for her. :) She also showed off a bunch of gameplay in all four seasons (the skating rink looks like loads of fun, as do holidays, and Victor's definitely going to have to learn how to arrange flowers) and the majority of the new CAS stuff (some nice new "outerwear" options, like fun raincoats and pretty dresses and suits -- including a matched set for Love Day XD). Makes me really excited about the pack! But I shall be good, and wait until they release a "fixing a bugs from the last patch" patch, and MC Command Center gets a true blue update. I've got my buffer for Tumblr, and I've got The Sim Supply's latest LP for satisfying my cravings. I'm good.

-->Speaking of The Sim Supply, watched another two episodes of "Super Sim" -- the 60s in this series seem to be all about James killing off Sims. XD He's successfully murdered three in the old apartment via firework, and just killed off four more in the new penthouse's "Death Room." He's actually running out of room to display all the urns! XD He hasn't even properly started the "Location" Aspiration yet -- it's all about the murder for now! I assume eventually he'll get back to that -- maybe in episode 70. :p

-->And I got up another "Scenes From Secundus" -- Middle Child Syndrome Gave it an editing pass too -- wasn't quite happy with the old version when I read it over again.

And that's the most interesting bits of my day -- there's not much happening on The Valice Multiverse tonight (my most active partner is in the process of moving), so I might just queue up the two asks I have and call it a night there. Maybe try and get a little more ahead on my VictorLuvsAlice queue. . .I'm set through Tuesday, but I do have to get those pictures for the next Newcrest Adventures update prepped. . . Gotta take care of the other thing in my inbox first, though. *cracks knuckles* Night all!
