Not the World's Greatest Thursday

crossover_chick-->Got the CAP school update and the instructions on how to do it done, but it took longer than I would have liked, especially since I was trying to put everything in one folder and realized, if I kept having to make workbooks for various schools, it was going to take me all day
-->Got my imports and some direct debits done despite numerous interruptions of various sorts (including lots of people e-mailing me for various reasons)
-->Weather was horrible all day, with heavy rain, thunderstorms, and growing humidity -- fortunately the air conditioners are in now, so I can sleep tonight without struggling with the thickening air
-->The "Nightmare Before Christmas" glass one of my coworkers gave me last Christmas cracked today -- which I noticed after drinking out of it. Both Dad and I examined the crack, and there didn't seem to be any chipping involved (looked like it was inside the glass itself), but still.
So yeah, not -- not great. *sigh* Just gotta remember, one more day. . . On the plus side:
-->Got another page on "Fixing You" -- Charlie saying a heartfelt goodbye, and me managing to work in some stuff from some of the "hole-filler" stories that would come between the meat of "Fixing You" and the wedding (namely, Victor giving a bunch of money from his trust fund to Houndsditch, and numerous mentions of Victor and Alice's Sandford house)
-->Caught up on some of my Helloween -- a quick look at Lovecraft's Untold Stories (an interesting little game in the pixel art style that features lots of cults (and lots of guns to shoot them), eldritch things, and randomly generated rooms in each playthrough, so that's cool); and the next set of the A:MR revisit (Helloween was not exactly on his game today with the jumping, or the puzzle-solving, or general navigation XD Also the game glitched out the end of one fight and completely confused him)
-->Got my ValiceMultiverse queue done and kept up with my VictorLuvsAlice one
-->Left a review I've been meaning to give and got a nice thank-you back
So that was all good. Just gotta clear out the inbox now and try to hit the sack at a decent time. . . One more day, then the weekend, then the short week next week. *nods* I can do it. Night all!
