A real-life one -- I've now owned this house for a year (we signed the paperwork on July 7th, though of course we didn't officially move in for a bit afterwards) -- and a fictional one -- Victor and Alice's wedding anniversary! :D At least in the Secundus and Forgotten Vows verses. I reread the wedding scene in "Fixing You" and got up the coming of age Scene From Secundus to celebrate the former (well, and to have it ready for my tumblr queue tomorrow), and we all ate up the last of our cheesecake with some chocolate sauce Mom made to celebrate the latter. Om nom nom. :)

Been a good Saturday overall, really. Weather was absolutely gorgeous -- had my windows open all day, and got in a walk before supper. Felt good to actually get outside and move. The YouTube videos are good, but I prefer to have some fresh air when I exercise. *nods* I also got my cleaning down WITHOUT disaster (beyond the usual little snags on the minimates) and even cleaned up the living room a bit for my folks. *shrug* I like to help out when I can, and they were pretty busy with the yardwork earlier, so. . . Only fair.

Other things that happened:

-->Edited another piece of "The Technicolor Phase" -- Victor meeting and getting blue from Emily. Next up is another new piece from Bonejangles's POV, about Emily actually bringing Victor Downstairs. Still deciding if BJ gets a color from Victor or not -- I suppose what happens between Victor and Emily ends up being important to Bonejangles too, at least in terms of him later telling Lizzie about the incident and how she can maybe get back Upstairs to see her sister. . .

-->Played Sims 4 -- the Van Dorts celebrated SimCity Founding! AKA the holiday I made that is basically the Sim version of the Fourth of July. XD They had a fantastic time despite it raining all day -- I got them a water slide (from Backyard Fun Stuff -- they are a lot bigger than I expected!), had Victor grill up some fruit, and then they danced and shared the Founding spirit with each other. The only tradition they missed out on was setting off fireworks because it was thunderstorming too hard. Ah well -- Sim "years" only last a month if you keep the seasons as lasting a week. There will be other opportunities. :p Also, Alice and Victor both completed their starting aspirations (Artistic Prodigy and Musical Genius respectively)! So that was pretty awesome. I've got Victor on Artistic Prodigy currently, though I'm probably gonna have him complete Freelance Botanist in the near future, while Alice is currently on Master Vampire, with Bestselling Author in her future. Finding it easier to keep her on Master Vampire, though, becaaause -- she finally got enough power points for the "Vampire Creation" power, and thus has finally turned Victor! Now my babies are my immortal vampire OTP, yay~ Victor still has to change over completely -- probably should let him have ice cream one last time before he turns, just like I did with Alice. But yeah, I'm looking forward to this. :)

-->Watched another episode of "Super Sim" (Max is now a politician [insert joke about it being the perfect career for him here], and is driving James mental by simply not having enough to do (he's nearly completed every skill there was in the game at that point, has to wait for the Humor and Hijinks festival to roll around to move forward on his aspiration, and basically has very little to fill his time)); and "Rags to Riches: Seasons" (a glitch meant that James had to replay most of Halloween, poor guy -- after that was the usual scramble to keep everyone alive and happy and catch up on all the chores. On the plus side, he made friends with Patchy the Scarecrow and got him to come to life and help with gardening; he made and sold a couple more flower arrangements; and he's having a little more luck in keeping everybody's needs in the green). Good times, all of it :)

-->Got my VictorLuvsAlice queue set up through Tuesday, as usual~ Always nice when I can stay a little ahead on that.

-->And now I'm currently answering any comments/RP stuff I might have. Which doesn't look like a lot, but -- we'll see how the night goes on. Can't stay up too late, though -- we're going out to my aunt's tomorrow for a while, so I have to wake up at a decent hour. At least it's in the afternoon, so I don't have to worry TOO much about sleeping in a bit. Hopefully it'll go well and we won't be stuck there too long.

All right, time to check on various sites and see what's what. Maybe even try to get a little ahead in prepping my Sims pictures. If I don't get terribly distracted first. . . Night all!
