Mostly All Right Thursday

crossover_chickThe majority of the stress came from going on the capital campaign online giving page to look up stuff about payments and pledges and who needs to be contacted about them. There's not a lot, happily, but I still feel a bit awkward about it all. . . *sigh* Well, gotta do it, otherwise things don't get fixed. Much like the maintenance from the processing company. . .at least I got all the sync files done this month without a problem. Ugh, I am so looking forward to when this won't be an issue anymore. . .
Beyond that, it was a pretty quiet day -- not too many demands on my time. And, happily, I got some vacation time approved for August! :) I picked a week where we already had the Monday and Wednesday off and just took the rest of it. Uses just a few days and gets me out for a pretty decent amount of time. Something to look forward to as I slog through the rest of July -- I can't take any time off during this month because one of my coworkers is going on a long vacation. At least I still have half-day Fridays to help me keep my sanity.
Afternoon was pretty good too -- got in another walk, made my muffins, wrote the rest of my "Holistic Assassin Alice AU" snippet, and watched the further adventures of Helloween and Thicckoskia (lots of boss smashing, starting off with the sad -- poor Sif :( -- and moving onto the "you're really a boss?" -- poor Ceaseless Discharge and Demon Firemage XD Also, Helloween's birthday today! Wished him well in the comment I left. He's 30 today, wow. . .) Just did my ValiceMultiverse queue, and getting ready to empty out the inbox. Standard stuff, really. My life doesn't have a lot of variation in it, usually. :p
All right then -- plan for tomorrow: catch up on more maintenance at work, start on Chapter 1 final edits of "Fixing You" once I get home, play a bit more of "Minerva's Den," and try desperately to get rid of some of these videos in my Watch Later queue! I'm not as bad as you, Gigs, but it's starting to get up there. (Again, I blame The Sim Supply, who keeps releasing a lot of long episodes for his Seasons Rags To Riches LP. . .) It's supposed to slowly get hot again this weekend, though, so I guess I'll have some time hiding in the air conditioning to marathon some stuff. . .we'll see. For now, good night!
