Just another day of Sims

crossover_chickClayton house today, a Friday. Lorraine and Clara both had to go to work, so I prepped them early. I had Clara get up Thursday night (she'd been exhausted the day before) to answer a persistently ringing telephone. George trying to call Lorraine. Clara informed him that she didn't care if they were engaged, the household needed sleep. I greened her up a bit, then satisfied some wants to get her into platinum mood before sending her back to bed. Lorraine didn't have that problem -- getting engaged to George had put her into full platinum. I got everyone greened before they had to leave. Strange, though -- before Jennifer left for school, Clara attempted to lecture her. I haven't a clue what she did wrong, so I canceled the action -- and realized it had canceled her "go to school" action. Nice going, Clara.
-J: *shakes head* That Sim is strange.-
Jennifer got home first -- and brought home J.C. with her usual A+! I promptly set about making them friends (and protecting the money tree). Lorraine and Clara came home at the same time -- Lorraine had made Restauranteur, and Clara Theorist! Now the girls can really bring home the bacon! I decided to give Lorraine her career reward -- a candy factory. She packed candy for a while at 4 simoleons a box while Jennifer succeeded in befriending J.C.
-M: Cool, so now you're friends with both of us?-
Yup. :) Clara was feeling lonely later, so I had her call Doc to chat. Shortly after she hung up to get supper, the phone rang. Guess who.
-D: Strange.-
Hey, aren't you supposed to be in bed?
-D: Well, unless you have a bedpan on hand. . . .-
Go, go! Smart-aleck. Anyway, I left Lorraine and Jennifer sleeping and Clara studying cooking. I think tomorrow or the next day I'll work on Hill Valley again.
-VD: So, still futzing around with your web site?-
*nodnod* Wondering how I'm going to put the photo codes up for -- hang on, I think I figured it out. Just gotta find some HTML code to make it work. :) It's coming along, slowly but surely.
-VD2: Do you really think this place is better than your old site?-
No pop-ups yet. And the site looks pretty cool, all things considered and in my humble opinion.
