Kind of Interrupted Sunday
Jul. 22nd, 2018 11:32 pmMostly because my Dad's looking for a new cellphone, and being unable to find any of the kind he wanted (a flip, like mine) in the stores, he and Mom had to keep asking me for help in trying to find one through my carrier, Tracfone. Turns out there is exactly one "reconditioned" flip available on their site -- everything else is a (apparently rather crappy) smartphone. I think Mom and Dad eventually settled on something he could live with, which is good, but. . .well, they just had the amazing timing of interrupting me every time I was building up a head of steam on my latest Chapter 2 "Fixing You" updates. So that took longer than anticipated, and I'm not entirely sure I'm happy with my work. :( Have to see what I can do tomorrow.
I did get pretty much everything else I wanted to accomplish done, at least:
-->Caught up on one (and a half -- turns out there was a secret "Deli invades James's game while he's moving and makes over Nathalie again" mini-ep) episodes of "Super Sim" -- Max is slowly climbing his way up the political ladder while also going bowling lots in his new private bowling alley (the bowling stuff pack had been installed by this point) and eating random food off the street. XD Also the toddler is getting neglected because James keeps forgetting what he was doing in previous episodes because there's been such big gaps between them. Typical Sim Supply. . . I also watched a tiny-house-on-a-pond build from him, and a joke video where he tried to play The Sims 4 vertically -- like it was being displayed on a smartphone. It functions, but James wasn't impressed with how the UI was displayed. He did build a very tall house to fit into the vertical frame, though. XD
-->Played some Sims myself -- another day of rain and thunderstorms for the Van Dorts! I had them stay in and just chill for the most part. Victor's in the process of turning into a vampire and is slowly but surely starting to hate all human food; Emma took the day off school and made drawings and summer crafts with the new activity table I gave her; and Alice got promoted to Patron of the Arts and took a turn at teaching Scraps how to "Lie Down" (don't think he got it, but they gave it their best shot). Also, lightning kept striking the lot and apparently unearthing rare minerals? O.o Well, some extra cash for the gang, I guess. . .
-->Back to YouTube to catch up on the currently newest episode of "Rags to Riches Seasons" from James! Scooby aged up into an elder, and was promptly aged back down again by James, who refuses to see him die. XD And Sebastian and Luna had their Love Day mini-vacation, fulfilling the holiday on a trip to Granite Falls in the snow. :) There was much woohooing. XD And Sebastian has a proper flower shop now, though it doesn't look like much at the moment. Gotta sell a few arrangements before he can really spruce it up!
-->Got my entire ValiceMultiverse queue done, and most of my VictorLuvsAlice one -- I'm up through the third part of the four-part Wednesday Sims post. XD It's fun, but I'm glad I took a few less pictures this time around.
So yeah, can't really complain -- just wish my parents had had better timing about the interruptions. *shrug* What can you do.
Well, what I have to do is answer the last comment in my inbox and go to bed -- another full(ish -- thanks half-day Friday) week looms! Hopefully it won't be too bad. Night all!
