crossover_chickBeen kinda one of those nights -- popping around whatever takes my fancy at the moment. Concentration earlier did not go well, also known as my edits on Chapter 2 of "Fixing You." >.< I knew it wasn't going to be ready for this Friday, but I would have liked to make MORE progress today. Just -- everything I wrote didn't feel QUITE right. Like I was tipping my hand too much in certain areas. Ugh. Hoping I can get myself back on track tomorrow.
Work was okay, at least -- got that one customer problem sorted at last, hooray, and did the reporting for a bunch of people. Tomorrow is big meeting day -- I'm hoping it's not too hard to get through. The meetings are all scheduled for multi-hour blocks, and I'm supposed to attend both the Fiscal one and the Development one. . . *sigh* We'll see what happens. Truthfully, I should just be glad to learn more about the system we're gonna be using after August. The more info I have beforehand, the better. *nods*
And I had some fun with YouTube tonight -- a "Fun With Shorts" about skywriting (Josh cracked a few fun jokes about chem trails); another set of Resident Evil 4 from Helloween (Leon and Ashley are navigating a big old castle now, and Helloween managed to face off against The Room Full Of So Many Freaking Dudes and Also Ashley Has To Crank Stuff While You Protect Her without dying once, by some miracle); and another episode of "Super Sim" (James totally panicked his way through trying to get Jayda all her toddler skills at the last minute, but has basically admitted defeat because he took too long to actually pay attention to her XD). Those were all good stuff. Sometimes you just need a laugh, you know?
Anyway -- got some stuff to answer in the inbox, then gotta go to bed. Night all!
