Yup -- it was a warm one today, but the humidity finally dropped to livable levels, meaning we didn't have to run the air conditioners! It was nice to have the windows open again, get some fresh air. I even got in a walk this afternoon -- felt really good to get out and about, even if it was just around the block. Those YouTube videos are good, but I do prefer when I can actually stretch my legs.

It was a good Sunday in other ways too:

-->On day 2 of my period, and my brain's starting to come back, happily. I was able to get a bunch of edits done on Chapter 3 of "Fixing You!" Poor Victor's having a rough time after another run-in with Splatter, and Alice is doing her best to comfort him. Just on the verge of meeting up with Fixxler!

-->Caught up fully on The Sim Supply's "Rags to Riches Seasons" LP -- it took a lot of scrambling, but the family was able to pay their super-expensive bills! Hooray Sebastian for somehow managing to sell a bunch of flower arrangements during a BLIZZARD. And then not dying on the way home despite moving at a snail's pace and passing out from exhaustion once. :p Raggy also became a teenager, and the family as a whole successfully celebrated Easter. :) Richie becomes a teenager next -- looking forward to it!

-->I also caught James's first console build (since he's hoping to have some stuff ready for Sims 4 players on XBox/Playstation if and when they get the gallery working on those platforms) -- he did a tiny house and lamented how awkward and annoying the controls were. XD Came out looking pretty neat though.

-->AND I was able to watch two more episodes of "Super Sim" -- Jayda aged up off-camera, so James sped-aged her to young adult and dumped her off with her siblings before getting another toddler, Kareem, to attempt the toddler skills with again. And then the Parenthood pack came out, so -- after about a three-month break to do the Power Parenthood Prequel (which I've already watched, happily) -- James now has to actually RAISE Kareem instead of just doing the toddler skills and then dumping him off somewhere, as it's required for the "Super Parent" aspiration. He's slightly salty. XD Max also turned into a vampire, so James is starting to work on getting all the powers and completing those aspirations. (Well, sort of -- he's still on the "Location" one from City Living as he's waiting to hit the Romance Festival. But he's noted the new aspirations he has to do!) Slowly but surely catching up to the present day with that series!

-->As for my own Sims 4 playing, I did indeed engineer a lot switch between the Van Dort family and Emmett and Nikal! Wasn't too difficult, though it did take some time to put everybody's stuff into their respective household inventories, just so I could be sure it would come with. Emmett and Nikal I've just left at the old Van Dort house for now, but I promptly got to work on editing the Van Dort's new house to accommodate them. . .

And then realized that Emmett and Nikal's house really wasn't that great and I had NO idea where to start. So I went looking on the Gallery for some help. XD What, I'm not that much of a builder! I found a really nice Victorian "large starter home" by a user named KaynicP and ended up downloading it onto the lot. It's a cute little place -- four bedrooms, though I'm only using the top two as such. The bottom two are instead going to be a music room and an art studio respectively. And heck, Victor and Alice will likely surrender their bedroom to a future kid, as Victor's about to become a vampire and thus basically not need sleep if Alice's experiences are anything to go by. Unfortunately, I didn't get much of a chance to set the place up -- just the move, finding the house, and making a few first edits (like moving the house into the right spot, adjusting the terrain paints, changing the exterior siding from pink to blue, widening the porch a bit, and building a little greenhouse out the back) took quite a bit of time, so I had to leave it unfinished. I still have an update for this Wednesday, thanks to my buffer, but I think I'm gonna go back in on Friday and finish updating the house before spending either Saturday or Sunday ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME. Victor should be transforming into a vampire really soon, and I also need some time to design his dark form. :p

-->And got to watch some Helloween as well -- another set of RE4! Ashley stupidly ran away from Leon in a panic after coughing up some blood and got herself captured by a trap, and Leon now has to find her while shooting horrible bug-creatures in the sewers and braving wave after wave of Los Illuminados monks wielding things like scythes, maces, crossbows, big-ass machine guns, and ROCKET LAUNCHERS. And Helloween somehow did all this without dying ONCE. *nods* You, sir, are good at games.

Okay -- one last thing out of the inbox, then time for bed. Another full week of work ahead. . .but it is one week closer to my vacation, so that's nice. *nods* But until then, night everyone!
