Busier, Muggier Tuesday

crossover_chickGot a few new projects dumped on me, and had to restart one I'd started last week because of an edit to the parameters (the mailing people now want both a direct mail file and a non-direct-mail file, joy, and the direct mail one needed clergy appeals added). I got the stuff I needed to get done, done, but it was a little frustrating. At least my other coworker comes back from her trip tomorrow -- a little extra help around the place would be appreciated.
The weather's also taking a turn for the muggy again -- I got out for a lunchtime walk, but it was getting thick enough in the afternoon that I stayed in and did a YouTube video in the air conditioning. Apparently the temperature dropped again after supper, but I've got the A/C on for sleeping purposes now. Dunno when the mug is going to come back, and a sudden temperature drop like that might mean thunderstorms are on the way -- we're supposed to have a chance of them tomorrow. We'll see what happens.
At any rate, my evening was nothing to complain about -- I got another chunk of editing done on "Fixing You" Chapter 3 (Fixxler just dropped the bombshell that Alice can do magic without even realizing she can (she has a natural talent for a certain spell, False Flesh)), then I got to watch a bunch of YouTube videos because most of them were super short. To whit:
-->The last set of Helloween's Dark Souls: Remastered run with Thicckoskia -- took him just under six minutes to traverse the final area, beat the final boss, and get Thicckoskia declared the new Dark Lord. Well, after owning so much of the world, she deserves it.
-->A "Fun With Shorts" that was all about some umpire going on about how the "battery" (pitcher and catcher" combo) in baseball is so important to a team's success -- which turned out to be a commercial about what I believe is a car battery in the last ten seconds (Josh was mildly salty)
-->A new "Sims Logic" episode that focused on funny things to do with the new Seasons expansion pack (such as making every day a holiday so Sims never have to go to work or school, the fact that you can woohoo with Sim Santa (aka Father Winter), or the fact that any outfit can be a hot or cold weather outfit if you take off the specific tag for those)
-->And the latest episode of The Sim Supply's "Rags to Riches Seasons" series! Which focused around the family having a house party to celebrate the latest TV premiere, Richie aging up into a teenager, tons of fertilizing the garden, and James continually bemoaning that he can't get any orchids from his spliced plants. :p Granted, the rate of splicing producing the plants you want seems to have been reduced drastically, and he's locked out of the most expensive flower arrangements until he gets them, so. . .legit complaints, I suppose. At least the family's doing well.
So that was all fun. :) Less fun was my discovery, while doing my ValiceMultiverse queue, that apparently Editable Reblogs on tumblr (which lets me keep the last post in the chain above mine when I reply to threads) might not be working again, at least on Chrome. My dash had all my reblogs only displaying my own post. I quickly found a work-around (copy the previous post while in edit mode, since it shows up THERE, and then paste it into my reply so it's visible), but that's annoying. I hope it's just a one-time glitch instead of something the New XKit people have to fix. I hate when I can't see what it is I just responded to. Ugh.
Anyway -- I do have one last thing in the inbox I have to take care of, then I have to go to bed. Tomorrow's Wednesday -- halfway through the week! Hopefully it'll be a decent day. Night all!
