crossover_chickMy next "Newcrest Adventures" update on my tumblr, that is -- I was SO trying to keep it to four, but in the end, I decided I really did need that extra picture space to show off everything I wanted to show. Cripes, it wasn't even a holiday -- although this IS the update with some house renovation (more accurately, yard renovation), and a trip to the club in Forgotten Hollow, and the birth of baby Eliza. . . Still, cripes, it shows just how picture-happy I've gotten lately in Sims, doesn't it? Well, as long as people like it, I think I'm safe. . . Which is good, as I'm pretty sure the session with the McFlys I played today is going to be a three-parter. Harvestfest shenanigans, you see -- and Marlene turning from baby to toddler! She's pretty cute :) Damn, though, those harvest gnomes are MEAN motherfuckers -- I had one that just would NOT be appeased for the longest time! At least Marty and Jennifer didn't actually SUFFER from being repeatedly struck by lightning. . . ALMOST succumbed to the urge to kick the lot of them, frankly. But they broke enough stuff around the McFly house. Also, I swear Newcrest is the rainiest neighborhood in the game -- whenever I boot it up, it seems to be raining! Shouldn't Forgotten Hollow be getting all this bad weather? Seriously. . .

-->Got another chunk done on "Fixing You's" Chapter 7 -- Alice has revealed her ability to cast False Flesh without reagents to her sister, who has in turn revealed she and Bonejangles are an item now. Catching up all the characters on each other's lives -- it's kinda fun. XD I also did write some of the new "Alice confronts Bumby at Moorgate" short for "The Technicolor Phase" short -- it's going -- weirdly. Mostly because, yes, this is definitely the moment I want to do, because yay Bumby getting shoved in front of a train. . .but as I write, my brain keeps going, "But you already did this." Because, well, I have, sort of -- novelizing and rewriting parts of Alice: Madness Returns was a key part of "Forgetting You." I mean, this confrontation is going down a lot closer to canon, and has different reasons for me to change things here and there, but -- *shakes head* This is why so many of my AUs now start after A:MR, I think.
-->Played some BioShock Infinite! Yup, whatever happened last night, it's working again. Didn't do too much -- just moved from one area to another, had a pretty tense conversation with Elizabeth (who didn't approve of Booker killing all those people in the last ambush -- Booker reminds her those people did not have her best interests at heart), and did some (socially acceptable -- I decided to resist the temptation to openly steal from cash registers to avoid getting into too much trouble with the populace) looting. Currently need to find me some Shock Jockey so I can electrocute people, yay~ :p
-->Watched some videos: Helloween's latest Metroid Prime set (he struggled pointlessly through an underwater area that turned out to need another suit upgrade to progress; wandered around finding MORE areas he couldn't get through without upgrades, then finally located the suit upgrade he needed and conquered the water areas. Now he needs to find a Grapple Beam -- never ends!); Deligracy building a cute butterfly-shaped house in Sims 4 (where was this when I was looking for houses to move Victor and Alice into earlier?!); RabbidLuigi talking about good video games sunk by a fatal flaw (such as microtransactions, bad servers, bad controls, or a truly shit ending); and one of the old OXBox videos on Hitman (no subtitle), doing the final mission of the first "season" (Jane was the one with the most non-target kills this time, but Mike still definitely caused the most chaos). Damn, I love OXBox and Hitman -- one of these days I need to just go through the playlist one by one. XD I also caught up on some videos I was missing from Call Me Kevin's Sims 4 playlist, so I'm ready to tackle that brand of chaos again too. XD
-->Got in a good walk around the block -- hot out, but not bad enough to stop me getting my fresh air! Though I've had to turn my AC on for at least tonight, as it's stayed pretty warm. I guess tomorrow's gonna be another hot one. . .halfway through September, I guess I'll take it.
Okay, got my Valice Multiverse queue set, got my pictures set for the ultra-long update on Wednesday (with the rough draft of the first post in my queue) -- just gotta empty out the inbox and head to bed. Night all!
