crossover_chickMostly because, when I post my "Technicolor Phase" chapters on AO3, I always end up with a bunch of those tags in the converted HTML code once I copy-and-paste the actual chapter from LibreOffice Writer. It takes forever to clear them out, and I can't just leave them in because they put weird extra spaces everywhere. I thought I had a quicker way to clean it up tonight, but then I realized I still needed to fix the formatting issues they caused. . . Well, Emily Pink did eventually go up, and that's main thing. Just -- really, I'd like to figure out how to quickly get those stupid < span > tags out so I can streamline the process.
Pretty typical day today -- work was kind of a ballache, and the weather not that great. Kinda on the hot and steamy side today -- I've got the air conditioner on tonight just to help dry things out. Bleck, I hate humidity. . .supposed to be better tomorrow, I think. And then rain again on Friday, then a nice weekend. We'll see how it all goes! At least the ride home was a lot better than yesterday's -- easy ride onto the highway, and they finally patched a pothole I've been having to avoid for a couple of weeks now. So that was good. You gotta appreciate the small things.
Things I did this afternoon:
-->Wrote some more on Chapter 7 -- yeah, this is going up next week at the soonest, depending on how I do the rest of this chapter. I've been cutting out a ton of extraneous catching up fluff, trying to focus on the happy reunion and the "we don't blame you for the fire or what Bumby did" bits, but it's still a long chapter. Part of me still wants to split it, but it really seems to work best as one flowing thing. . . I'll just keep plugging away at it. And come up with something to share this Friday on tumblr.
-->Watched a "Fun With Shorts" (another Chevy short -- though this one actually talked about CARS, shock and horror) and the latest episode of The Sim Supply's "Rags To Riches Seasons" (James is trying to build up the necessary funds to buy the new Windenberg mansion -- while simultaneously building an apartment over the flower shop so Sebastian doesn't have to go home to tend his needs :p Also Love Day was largely ignored barring some woohoo and Benedryl still refuses to join the family and be brought back to life)

I do have big plans for October over there though. . .since I've been majorly into vampires, I'm gonna theme my October posts around them, and I have plans to do a little "Valice Shipping Week" thing for anyone who wants to do some Valice-related content around Halloween. Gotta start getting that properly up and running this weekend. . .
