Quiet Friday??

crossover_chickWell, at work at least -- was NOT pestered by various questions at all times by all people. I mean, I got SOME questions, but I was actually able to get a few things off my plate as well. That was nice, honestly. Especially since I had a pretty shit ride in -- both the main road and the highway were backed up. There's actually a school bus strike going on, so we think that's a good part of the reason for the traffic. Hopefully they can come to some sort of agreement soon, otherwise getting to work is going to be a chore.
But, out for the weekend, which is good. Did some more writing on Chapter 7 -- some stuff about how Dibbler's pies aren't even fit for the dead, and Lizzie and Alice realizing they almost bumped into each other on Halloween. Lizzie swears fairly epicly. XD Also watched a bunch of YouTube videos:
-->A "Fun With Shorts" about how to be a good conversationalist (starring the usual cast of dopes -- some great riffs, though)
-->Another "mansion building" video from The Sim Supply (it has its own PLAYLIST now XD Today was "this is why I designed the floorplan to be the way it is," which was pretty interesting -- I like hearing a builder's design decisions, especially when it comes to how a Sim is actually supposed to live in a house)
-->The latest set of Vampyr from Helloween (some rather emotional stuff -- turns out our runaway patient, though a Skal (ghoul/lesser type of vampire), is actually NOT a vicious murderer, and is in fact still trying to help people. Including a secret society of friendly Skals in the sewer! Also there is apparently a horrible shadow monster born of hatred that's killing people and has it out for the main character. And a guy mourning an explosion turned out to be responsible for said explosion. This is a game full of Cheery Things happening to Cheery People)
And then it's been the usual "catching up on websites" and "doing queue stuff" -- I actually still have to do VictorLuvsAlice, actually. At least I know exactly what I'm doing for Song Saturday. . . I'm a little behind thanks to Mom coming home late with a rant about her job (they're asking her to do stuff WAY beyond her duties -- she's finally quitting as a result). And then one of my tumblr friends wants me to do some writing with them, so. . . yeah, better get to wrapping some of this stuff up. Night all!
