Surprisingly Rainy Monday

crossover_chickWeather today was actually supposed to be pretty decent -- but the dark clouds starting rolling in around midmorning, and while I was able to get in a lunchtime walk with only a slight sprinkle on me, it quickly started raining in earnest once I got back inside. And now it's supposed to be pretty miserable over the next day into Wednesday morning. >.< I was really hoping this October WASN'T going to be another wet and wild one. . . I guess we'll see what happens as the month progresses.
Not much to report on at work -- more merges, helping a few folks out over the phone, that sort of thing. I was fairly busy when I got home, though (which involved cutting through the city AGAIN -- seriously, I'd like one wet day where I didn't feel I had to resort to that):
-->New walking-based workout video that was a lot of fun -- I'm probably gonna check out more of those from that particular trainer. I like me some walking/aerobics, and having new stuff to do for exercise is always good.
-->More writing on Chapter 7 -- Elder Gutknecht is sharing some tidbits from his life, and I think I'm actually pretty close to wrapping things up! Just gotta cut out a little more fluff. . .
-->Watching the final episode of "Rags to Riches Seasons" -- the Bigwallets are officially moved into their new house! James did not get Benedryl to join them, but he did fix a few glitchy bits, and get the super-expensive bills paid with a final trip to the store. XD Now we move onto a new spin-off LP, "Keeping Up With The Bigwallets" -- I'm looking forward to it. Finally get to see the Gardening career that came with Seasons! :)
-->Also watching the next episode of Kholat by Helloween. The weirdness continues as we attempt to piece together the story and avoid Orange Satan/Winnebago Satan (Helloween changed names halfway through the set). It's interesting, but there does seem to be a fair bit of "weird for weirdness's sake." But I'm enjoying it for what it is. Helloween's played much worse games (name-checked one of them upon finding some glitchy shadows, in fact).
-->Making the Valice Shipping Week sideblog! It's pretty basic at the moment, and shall remain that way, but I got up the "hey this is happening" post and got some customization on there, so that's good. Probably add in any extra bits and bobs I think are necessary going forward this week.
-->Answering some questions on tumblr and getting a START on the Sims update for Wednesday -- got the pictures for two of the three posts up, along with some starter/placeholder text. At least the posts are THERE and I can edit them tomorrow afternoon.
-->And now holy jeez it's almost midnight gotta get the inbox emptied and get to bed.
