We ended up doing the front of the house up for Halloween today -- we were going to do it on Monday, but now it's supposed to rain, sooooo. . . Fortunately we kept the Halloween decorations we made last year, so we didn't have too much to pick up at the dollar store -- just some fresh fake webbing and some fall-themed ribbon. Mom spruced up the ghosts with some old curtain fabric, and we hung them up all over the porch. We also got our pumpkins -- we stopped at a grocery store to pick up stuff for dinner, and they were having a sale -- two pumpkins for $10! Mom decided that was too good a deal to pass up on, and we picked out two big ones for the front steps. Dunno what we'll do for jack-o-lanterns with them yet, but they look nice. :)

Of course, all of this took up the vast majority of my morning and afternoon (along with lunch), so I had a rather late room clean. I DID get it done, however! Along with writing on "The Technicolor Phase" (editing my new "ending of A:MR" chapter for it -- fortunately, now that it's written, I don't feel so weird about its existence as a 'duplicate' of the end of "Forgetting You"), and playing BioShock Infinite (I'm past all the Slate nonsense and have gotten myself a fun crank gun! I was also presented with the choice of killing Slate or sparing him when we finally caught up to the guy -- I ended up killing him as a) it's what the guy actually wanted and b) he and his troops REALLY ANNOYED me. Which means I also have the Shock Jockey vigor, which is very useful. Not QUITE as fun as my crows, but shocking and shooting an enemy takes them down pretty damn fast. On my way back to the gondola to power it up and advance to the next major area). So that's nice. :) I also made a dent in my "watch later" queue -- best boss fights from RabbidLuigi, video game choices instantly regretted from OXTra, and fights that required a solution other than "shoot it/hit it until it dies" from OXBox. All good stuff.

Oh, and I also got up another Scene From Secundus: the "young" prompt! Which was a fun one. :p I hope you find it as amusing as I do.

Now, as usual, I'm catching up on messages and doing the RP thing a bit. Typical Saturday night stuff, really. Hoping I can also finish up this one Vamptober post for Magical Monday. . .figuring out how to map the Sims 4: Vampires powers to the Vampire: the Masquerade -- Bloodlines disciplines is hard work, yo! But I think I'm close to being done. . . Anyway, back to work. Night all!
